Still waiting for the USMC f/a18c with apg 79.
It was f14s v.s. phantoms and mig23s. You can imagine the imbalance. Wanna say that was before rounds had drag the way they do now so the vulcan could easily snipe you from 1.5-2km out. It was the BMPT situation, but for planes.
@Smin1080p_WT May I ask if the Devs are still looking into the Launcher Vehicles of Multi vehicle SAMs?
Because: Upgrades still dont apply to the Launcher vehicle (example Engine Power)
And are they still thinking about how to gave us the Option to place decals on them without breaking the game?

5th Gen with 3rd gen missiles??? Why are you assuming they won’t have their proper gen ir missiles??? It says the 4.5 will get next gen missiles to be able to fight the 5th Gens in the 2026 guess (it would follow that they would have their Gen of missiles).
5th Gen Stealth would have to be so OP that it warrants them having 9M’s and R73’s for in close fighting??? or their Stealth is ass or more likely it’s good at range and degrades as you get close. IRIS-T, MICA IR, 9X Block 2, and R74M/M2…even 5th Gens are getting smoked fighting 4.5 if the 5th Gens are rocking the 9M and R73!

I’m not quite sure the next event vehicle will 100% be a tank guaranteed. It might also be a plane.
Why? Because the event after will be the Great Patriotic War event again, and that was a plane last year.
A new batch of camouflages has joined the game, but it seems that only the F-16C52 doesn’t have a camouflage of the new airplanes , frustrating.
In the case of the F-22, it used AIM-9M/AIM-120C-5 before moving on to AIM-9X/AIM-120D.
The F-35 came out of factory with AIM-9X equipped. It didn’t have the same “peek” side bay that the F-22 has to use AIM-9M.
Other stealth jets (J-20 (sort of), Su-57) are in the same boat as F-35, they (except maybe J-20?) don’t use the current missiles we have in-game. They all had redesigned or new missiles made for them specifically.
All in all, if things were to go as they said in that, it would most likely just mean 4.5 gen jets getting the same or better (cough, Meteor) missiles as 5th gen, which is the fairest option there.
