Its decided by the dev team and depends on a lot of factors. Generally a mix is sort between all forms (Tree / Prem / Event / BP etc). However Battle Pass in particular is generally intended to be more functional premiums.
In this case:
- The first Greek aircraft (a historically significant one)
- One of the most reliable and functional prop aircraft, familiar to many
- Also happens to be the 90th anniversary of the Spitfire

Hey @Smin1080p_WT , I have a report here I was hoping you could look at, any chance you could have this forwarded for me? With the F-14A IRIAF getting its wing mounted Fakour 90 and Aim-54s in the coming BR changes, I was hoping it could finally get this small previously passed-over change it was supposed to get, it’s thankfully a small inaccuracy but with an easy fix. I thought it might get fixed on its own, but I ended up making the report for it here:

Basic summary of report
Basically the devs forgor. The limitations on all F-14 Sparrow/Phoenix loadouts got changed to allow for under fuselage carry of a single sparrow and two phoenixes. This change was applied to all tomcats except the Iranian one (yet they did it for the Fakours still, they just forgot about my poor phoenixes)
Passed on.

Nah it will be a fighter, multirole attacker and an interceptor : P
Would have been cool as an event to coincide with that to get a twin-seat Spitfire. Like maybe a TR.9 with it’s retained armament.

Is the fact that Britain hasn’t received a single new battle pass vehicle in 2.5 years (strikemaster in October 2023) not taken into account at all?

Been quite a while, wonder if we’ll see nations without triple vehicle packs get some or if they’ll just do it for the major nations that got them originally

It has been passed, it’s now up to the devs to choose to implement it.
This is an event. If it was unique that would mean one less unique vehicle for the tree, like it happened for Finland.
But this seems like an actually good sign, literally still leaving everything unique to the techtree.
