They already had two, they’ve been on the list lol
Then let’s just pull vehicles straight from the tech tree every time, following this logic. Oh, what am I saying? We already have plenty of P-51s and Shermans in all the branches. Great job, developers! You’re making a unique product. It’s immediately obvious the development department is busy with important work. Maybe there’s a spot for me? I can use Ctrl+C and Ctrl+V, and for $3,000 I’m willing to work from dawn to dusk every day.
So in terms of copy pastes, let’s take Leopard 2 production run (A0 to A4) as an example
We have a TT Leopard 2A4. And assume we need one premium, one squadron and an event vehicle.
Squadron should be the closest to the TT vehicle. So a slight modification can come, like Leopard 2A3.
Next, the event should follow. It should be strictly a sidegrade. A country-specific variant is possible starting from here. Just a reskin is acceptable but it should resemble significance in history, so Gaijin work in general for an event (from the name to the decals).
And the bottom is a premium vehicle. This level should not provide any significance over the TT vehicle and preferable be slightly worse. Again country specific cosmetic variety is preferred but do not take this as fabrications of vehicles like the PzBtl crap or ugly mixture of Challenger DS.
There isn’t a late version if the IXc with the clipped wing currently in any tree. Lots of nations tend to use the same vehicles. Its as true in modern times as it was during the WW2 - Cold War area. The Spitfire is one of the most numerous and known.
Had it been a fully new and “unique” vehicle and not just a sub variant, a different person would be tagging me to complain that a new vehicle is being locked behind the battle pass. So we aim to have a mix of all vehicle types across the tree, premiums, events and BP.
BP however is more for useful and practical premiums as well as all the other thematic content found in the pass.
The players will always find something to complain, no matter what you do when it comes to stuff like this and IMO the battle pass is something to unlock/progress trough while playing the game so the vehicles dont have to be unique, just nice to have.
Btw I’m pretty sure someone asked but will we see another CM disclosure and or roadmap sometime before or during sommer?
We will have a CM update before the next major yes.
I am very happy with it.

Appreciate it
So when HF Mk IXe?
The problem is the battlepass doesn’t provide value.
It would have value if
- It had something unique (which you maybe rightly so say the BP isn’t the right place for it)
- It has MUCH more in it than 1 rank 3 premium plane which you and need to pay for and need to grind a lot for.
It’s crazy. For real money and real grinding you get one copy-paste rank 3 airplane? (and a bunch of boats but we literally don’t count that as anything of value)
British surplus supplies at the end of the war be like :

Could’ve fooled me. Could’ve sworn we were broke right after 🤣
Tries hard to not let politics enter the chat aaahhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhh
Value is generally subjective to who is interested in each pass and theme. To someone starting Israel who has not yet played, the Spitfire Mk IX is generally one of the most solid and reliable props in the game.
This particular sub variant (Late IXc with Clipped Wings) is not yet featured in any other tree, but it also doesn’t take anything way from the Israeli tree itself.
The Aircraft is also Rank IV premium:
Spitfire LF Mk IXc (CW) - A Premium Fighter for Israel at Rank IV
It’s sort of like buying an inflatable pool and garden furniture in the summer but once September comes around you start selling it all on eBay and Facebook. You won’t get all your money back from it but it’s a nice little boost.
Oh yeah, but there isn’t even anything before rank IV in the Israeli tree. How does this get you started in Israel? You can literally get rank IV planes as reserves without doing anything lol. This premium plane won’t even help grinding ranks I, II and III like it would in other trees.
You can already get a rank IV in Israeli tree without buying or doing anything. So how does yet-another-rank IV ‘get you started’?
By speeding up research for Ranks IV and V, as with all other premiums. As well as the additional SL bonuses and line-up boosting for combined battles too.
Which are exactly 8 planes. A rank IV premium in a different tree would speed up research of many more planes.
It’s literally a premium in the lowest rank of the tree, speeding up research of the least amount of planes.
Eg, the least amount of value ever. Just to compare, the ELC901 of the current Battlepass can help research rank 1-5 of French tanks, eg, 46 vehicles (yes, I went through the trouble of counting them).
