What does Ukraine have to do with the (lack of) existence of dual rack MICA?
No one is arguing whether or not it can use it on its own, we know it can. The primary argument (that’s very obviously shifted now) is about whether or not it could have 12 MICA, which it can’t
Sure wonder what Poland, Czechoslovakia, Korea and many more nations went trough in similar decades
Still it’d be much better to start it off at higher tier like Israel currently is or give African Union vehicles equipped with 50 cals like US halftracks, etc. .
Leftovers from WW2 were also present in nations like Egypt and more.
African battalions did have their own markings on tanks, planes, etc… So perhaps these could be added in the lower tiers?
But then again, that would most likely be C&P. At top tier, the African Union TT might be more interesting and sellable.
Especially around the cold war era, where they modified and experimented a lot.
It already heavily is.
But it’d also bring in unique stuff like Egyptian upgraded Italian tanks with 2 pdr and more.
Even avoiding African divisions, it still has the ability to provide low tier trough Egypt.
Well I don’t agree with some of the arguments here, I also don’t agree with stuffing as many nations as possible into one tree.
We’ve seen what happens, with more nations in one tree, more “C&P”. As the have more nations to take it from, over having to fill the space with unique vehicles as there is less “C&P” to pick from. It’s the reason why I object to a “commonwealth tree” as with the 56-ish nations, there’d be zero unique vehicles as they’d be no need for unique vehicles as there wouldn’t be spaces not filled by copy and paste unlike trees with smaller nation counts.
So stuff like Poland or CANZ would be 10x better then a continent and a bit as a tree. Yes some C&P would be needed but even the WT majors have C&P. (V4 is pushing it for me and anything with 5+ nations is to many.)
Yet it is directly excluding vehicles exported to the nation and more. (BMPT, T-72AV, T-72UA1, etc. . ) Are these vehicles not “copy paste” just because (with the BMPT that wasn’t present in game before) aren’t in game? Or just because these nations are not in War Thunder?
How much of the tree is also made up of lightly modified vehicles?
It is heavily copy and paste
I’m not well versed in bmpts (only know the 2 in-game plus the Strazh and 62) so if it is a 1 to 1 copy of one the ones we have, then I would say it would be copy paste
