Quick question, does that apply to only ships in one particular tech tree? Or are captured/loaned ships like Royal Sovereign or Guilio Cesare included in that as well?
Also is there any chance the devs could change or relax that rule in the future? Just considering there’s a ton of ships that received one-off or unique fits but are represented in-game in more standardized fits (ie Ise’s Hybrid Battle Carrier fit or Detroit’s experimental late war fit etc).
Additionally is there any chance we might see something like Cesare pop up in the Italian tree or Royal Sovereign in the British tree considering their relative fame and in the case of Cesare, a unique non Soviet fit? Thanks!
No, the testbed was the two seat gripen d. Saab marketed the whole gripen e and f as ng, so the gripen ng you are talking about is an early gripen e prototype, which is what brazil tested
so you just dont add something because there are no counterparts? That only goes for western equipment tho of course. The kh-38 has no counterpart. The r73 has no counterpart. The r27ET has no counterpart. LMUR etc.
Don’t get me wrong, I’d love to see more prototype and abandoned stuff, but there is a difference between China getting domestic stuff and Sweden not getting prototype stuff lol
The F-35 WDNS never used aim-9B nor aim 9N, it only used Swiss modified aim 9b and AIM-9N2
SO yeah its kind of a cope to ask for RB72 but given we have other vehicles lacking historical weapons i think thats not as big of a ask lol. Especially given they would fix some of our vehicles like the Di being 13m0 with only 9L missiles with a terrible flight model and RWR lol
Gaijin is just too lazy to add Aim 9N-2 to the Italian starfighters. (Which i think were only testbeds. Not service like our Drakens.)
I think there are single seat testbeds as well, 39-8 , 39-9 and 39-10 are all NG testbeds. The 39-7 was the first of them and indeed a modified D version but it isn’t the only one.
I’ve been saying that these weapons should get artificially nerfed for ages, but Gaijin thinks otherwise.
All that has happened in the past was a constant back and forth between one side dominating the other with escalating levels of domination. This has to stop.
The R-73 is the better IR missile in most cases, but the AIM-120 is the better ARH in most cases.
Each platform and weapon has it’s pros and cons and the current state of ARB seems pretty balanced, despite the R-73 being so “dominant” in short range missile combat.
This is the second NL ship in WTM, and their first surface vessel. The hangar-mounted Goalkeeper turret is hidden from view, the same as other CIWS weapons:
Btw, while WT Mobile datamines are still on hold, there are two things that appeared today that seem worth noting: a " ships " version of the FAB-100 bomb, and a duplicate of the Mk.46 lightweight torpedo that has " us_ " as it 's nation prefix, instead of the " jp_ " prefix used by the currently available one in both WTM and WT:
