i would love to see Sim “events” with pre determind vehicles like they did for ground Sim that change every day (it could start at 9.7/10.0 where more advanced IR, SAHR Missiles and Radars without IFF appears).
with that we could mostly avoid the same plane type on Blue/Red side.
And for the people that would dislike this, they can just play the regular player made sim matches.
Not really gaijin see how much of a cash cow britain can be. They bring in more money than those minor nations like sweden or Japan ect, why grind them when you can spend more on Britain. They’ll still make money from dedicated fans of smaller nations.

Assymetrical combat at the end of the day is waaaaaay more fun than symetrical combat and this is a game after all.
I mean after all this is a game not real life if matches were as you say, blue vs red all the time and everytime. People will know the weaknesses of an aircraft and will not fly them as they know they’ll be beaten over the head.
All vs all has always made matches more diverse (though sales not pending) but as I say if you want longer waiting times and only play the best of the best then go a head.
in an Air sim context (where needing to IFF is important) trying to play something like the Harrier Gr7 or Tornado GR4 is just a boring chore at the moment, because its nothing but F-18s.
Thats just boring. If anything, its less diversity.

The majority of F-18 players are premiums. The economy will be in shambles if people have to grind for a TT vehicle

I don’t really notice the top tier C&P problem when I play the CF-188, but that’s mostly because me and half the team get taken out by an Iranian F-14 in space by .5 of the match starting.
it genuinely feels like the 12.7 br range is just a training exercise with no available aggressor planes so they just use F-18s
There are, but there are also plenty that dont have it in the first place. Such as the GR7 (Tonka might actually have a basic A2A SRC mode for their radar with IFF which would do)
and the problem exists at lower BRs too, where there are no radars.
On one hand, I really like the ASB brackets, on the other, I would quite like a GSB style curated vehicle lists version.
