Its sad really because abysmal at its current BR. An F5A has 2 aim9L and sits at 11.0, yet a twin seat corsair that does EVERYTHING worse is at a higher BR.
It would be among the worst at 10.7, but being 11.3 in inexcusable

Germany needs a reconnaissance tank above the BR 11.0… why not the Puma SP1?

multiple things, with no fixes in sight. idk how a new buggy vehicle would be better tho.
The Spike Lock bug haunts me every time i play it, i think they fixed the tracks taking a vacation when you get ammo racked, it could be more survivable at top tier if it had its spall liner.
And it doesn’t just affect the Puma, it happens with the MMP on the Jaguar, and with the IRIS-T SLM as well(it might not be the same bug), it locks target but you just can’t fire.

The AL41F1S puts out 14,500 kgf. The AL31FM1 on the 27SM puts out 12,520 kgf it’s less by 1,980 kgf. The extra thrust from the AL41s will stop the 30SM from falling out of the sky when it does it’s high AoA stuff…don’t believe me??? Give the 30SM a 4660 kgf buff to its total kgf out put and you wont fall out of the sky when you do this.

Comparing in-game installed thrust to an entirely different context is known as a false equivalence fallacy.
The AL31FM1 engine produces 13,527kgf in the comparison you’re seeking.
The difference is less than that of the F-18E and F-18C engines, especially accounting for weight.
Giving the Su-30SM engine thrust it doesn’t have IRL isn’t going to happen.
The fact is ~2000kgf more thrust total won’t overcome the 7.43% more fuel needed, and 2130kg of empty mass increase.
The Su-30SM weighs more than Su-27SM and produces more drag, it will need far more than a 7.43% thrust improvement [and fuel consumption increase] to overcome the drag & weight gains.
The 30SM and 30SM2 are the same airframe…no extra internal fuel, the engines are just much more efficient giving it extra range…was using the SM as a comparison because it is the closest thing to the SM2…if added, more like when added the 30SM2 will be a decent flight performance upgrade to the SM that’s all I’m saying if you don’t think so that’s ok. Well have to see what Gaijin does.
