I have both IAR planes in WT, but I wish other variants would come to the regular tree, as it would benefit a lot from them.
They are interesting planes and not bad gameplay wise, way better than full copypaste from “major” nations.
Hungary will have similar aircraft to italy if not outright having a few Italian export, their size made them suitable candidates to be a sub. Italy has 109’s so does Hungary, Hungary used the Re.2000’s that’s an Italian aircraft. Also most of Hungarian mid tier aircraft are in the premium section.

So far Romania brought more unique planes to Italian TT than Hungary) all are premiums unfortunately, yeah.
Btw Romania also used multiple Italian models, one of which we already have in the game (SM.79B) and 109s…
Hungary was chosen mainly to give Italy top tier jet at the time (Gripen) and adequate top tier MBT (2A7HU), plus some meta vehicles to fill lineups and avoid playing non-meta Italian vehicles (like MiG-21s to avoid playing overtiered F-104s or MiG-15/17 to avoid playing overtiered Italian G.91s and etc).
Eventually, I still don’t see Hungary as the only subtree, it should be either Hungarian/Romanian subtree or some other nation subtree like Spanish maybe (still a lot of copypaste, but at least as you have said, the style of the TT would be saved), only issue would be a lack of heavy tank, but Gaijin made Tigris premium, so whatever.

Half the selling point of subtrees is to give the smaller, less well known nations a fixed home in game.
That is especially true for unique vehicles they bring. There’s no good reason to say a subtrees unique vehicles shouldn’t be in the main tree, aside from space issues that are really more on Gaijins implementation than the concept of subtrees itself.
Since the moment Romania became a subtree their vehicles can never “not fit the tree”, because it is in part a Romanian tree now.

the problem there is that Finnland really never had Domestic Aircraft in service
they had Modified scrapped French Aircraft, Modified to keep them Airborne (Mörkö Morane) and a Paper plane that never made it to production, and that was the CBT plane for the Swedish Tech tree
VL Myrsky, VL Humu, VL Pyörremyrsky, again thats at least three domestic designs and yet of the ones in game both are premium and one is an event vehicle. They never should’ve been premium when there was so little domestic designs to add. This is why subtrees are disliked because Gaijin goes out of their way to milk people for money in the worst way possible why play Finland when theres nothing unique to get in the TT. Everything is basically obtained with your money rather than for free in the TT. Its a poor management of the game it also doesn’t help that sweden air for the most part is some of the worst vehicles bar none nearly BR for BR.
Id like to see Finland finally get some long overdue additions that might make it somewhat appealing rather than the slop it is. With Benelux and the Fokker Finland air has zero unique aircraft that can be obtained for free making zero incentive to grind it. Ground isn’t much better. A single SPAA, 2 overtiered Light tanks, and a farily cool 1.7 TD isn’t worth much for the subtree gaijin did the least amount of effort with.

such a fun prop to play, feels like BF109 from temu but with an insane climb rate and stall control at 4.3. its a shame u have to buy it with Ge tho
