except the fact that mica ir will be the best iir missile , TVC ( good maneuverability) , highest range of all IIR missiles , u can carry more mica ir than any other IIR missile. 2 R 24T vs 8x mica ir with data link.

Again… This is Gaijin we are talking about. They’ve removed FnF from Brimstones, they’ve made BOL 1/4 strength, Aim-9Ms have terrible lock ranges.
You are just assuming the MICA IR will be at 100% IRL strength without any form of Mitigation?

We have primary sources for Aim-9L and AIm-9M to be far far harder to defeat. Let alone Magic II and R-73s and PL-8Bs.
This is Gaijin, this is a game. Im doubting any of them will be all that hard to flare. The advantages mostly will come from the much better kinematics
It won’t change anything about the imbalance. The EFT and Rafale will still absolutely gap the F-18s, F-15s and Su-30SM up close while the EFT is also up there as one of the best BVR planes at top tier.
You could argue that the EFT is on par with the F-15E in terms of BVR.
i dont think it will be worse than magic2/aim9m and that alone would make it pretty op + DL

Would be weird for it to not come with datalink, I really don’t see that happening.
Hopefully IIR does come in like December as some have predicted. Atleast MICA-IR won’t have to deal with multipath nonsense compared to AMRAAM. It also won’t provide warning to enemy RWR.
