Why adding these top tier vehicles in the first place?
They are a pain to balance, most information is not available and not every nation has equivelant vehicle to the current status quo.
Yep, well, assuming it didnt have a C&P seeker as the Aim-120 has right now.
But yeah. Aim-9M is such a dull weapon which imo, barely works half the time

game wont be fun with IIR , if u add IIR to one tt everyone will start asking for it , wont suit the game unless they limit air rb to 5v5s or atleast 8v8s. 16v16 with iir would be unplayable. i wont play anything except the rafale getting free kills with mica ir.
New vehicles? Only really needed by Sweden and China.
New weapons brings nations onto closer parity and with the right additions in terms of A2G weaponary and appropriate gameplay, would add a lot more value than just adding new aircraft.

Well… I’d be quite happy with ASRAAM.
But yeah.
It would only ever be added to all at the same time.
But imo, that is still more balanced than only 2 nations getting HOBS
As we have seen many many times WT =/= IRL. For all we know, Gen 5 IRs will be fairly easy to flare and have lock range limits and limits to their HOBS

IIR will equalise the lethality for all ranges
AMRAAM and R-77-1 Rule at longer ranges while the short ranges are mostly knife fights rn so getting up close and personal is a Valid tactic to survive the AMRAAMs
back in the day it used to be the opposite, you did your best to stay away, outside of the IR range and used your Sparrows and R-24 to stay out of the IR deathzone
with IIR we’ll be back to the old meta, missiles will for once be Reliable and harder to escape again, yk as they used to be untill the great Flare buff that made many previously feared missiles almost useless
TLDR: we’ll see the return of a Meta only the older players will remember
addition: remember when R-60 made an Aircraft Unfairly imbalanced and R-60M pretty much ignored flares most of the time?

- I can easily forsee lock range limits to mitigate ASRAAM and MICA IRs longer range (heck, Aim-9M has an artificially nerfed lock range)
- I can easily see IIR being no where near full strength, just like how Aim-9Ms and other IRCCM can be one flare defated and heck even Aim-9Ls shoudlnt be 1 flare defeats most of the time
- In a WVR fight, the Rafale and even the Su-30 hold a huge advantage over pretty much everything else they fight because Aim-9M sucks at close range

uh no ? mica ir will significantly outrange every other iir missile and u get 8 of those.
