Python 3s aren’t that much better than 9L.
So it has 2 more missiles and can equip more CMs, still seems like the F-4F shoudl at least be 11.7 with 9Ls. Or the Kurnass 2000 to 12.0.

yea they just pull harder, are faster and have more range.
Youre right, basically the same missile kekw
cuz last i checked, the Kurnass 2000 gets a more substential weapon selection?
basically the same, right? just ignore all the smart weapons and the 9L & P3s
like he said xD
F-4F ICE is an upgrade / Life extension program for the F-4F.
This does not compare at all to the Tornado IDS vs ADV as these are entirely different versions built as such for entirely different roles and purposes. They are in different progression lines entirely (GR.1 vs F.3 for example).
Your 3rd point here answers your second. F-14B was planned to come with AIM-9L.
We do not plan any current loadout changes for F-14A or F-4F at this time.
Any work with new nation voice lines by chance?
the same is the F-14B of the F-14A?
the same is F16C of the F-16A
the same is the F15C of the F-15A
the same is the Su-27SM of the Su-27?
F-4F ICE and F-4F are 2 different planes
And since when does ground ordnance matter for an air BR discussion? So it has 2 missiles more, has more countermeasures, and can equip missiles that go for every flare popped on the map.
Still doesn’t seem 1.0 BR better. Like I said, I’d also be perfectly fine with the Kurnass 2000 moving to 12.0 if the F-4F gets 11.3 with AIM-9L.
Not false advertisement at all. As we make very clear, everything is subject to change from aircraft on the dev server (and actually beyond that, any loadout can change). Including thier loadouts. The F-14A was not the first or last.
Just because something is shown on stream, videos or teasers does not mean its final and can never change.
noticed it yourself yourself right?
it just has more of everything… so the one thing that has less than it should be at the same BR… ppl these days…
correct, but this wasnt on the dev, this was the Teaser trailer and in addition to that, it didnt even had the 9L on dev. it started already with 9H
Yep, There are plenty of vehicles that have similar or even bigger differences and don’t have a full 1.0 BR difference between them.
And regarding the latter, I’ll take 9L over python 3s all day of the week, or at most 2x python/4x AIM-9L loadout.
you willingly handicaping yourself is your choice.
These are much closer comparisons than the Tornado IDS vs ADV, which was a very poor example.
All of these aircraft have differing missile loadouts between their variants. So its not clear what your point is here.
Do you think you can pass a question on to the devs for me why keep the kv2 Zis 6 reload at 17sec while it’s 107mm is single part and it has 2 loaders and they are reducing the reload of the base 2 part loading 152mm
Python 3s are only good for last minute head ons or ambush, it will gladly go not even for the flares of the plane you are firing at, but even to the flares of the one beyond that.
Many things have been changed or were different from teaser trailers.
Its never been the case that a teaser trailer = locked in and final content. So its not clear what the point is here
My point is that every later version of every fighter jet ,is an upgrade / Life extension program for the < insert plane >"
Why would any of the F-14s have to move up lol?
All of the F-14s have worse heat seekers than their peers at this tier, and the F/A-18A gets up to 6 9Ls a step below the 14A.
was it tho?
The ICE program was meant to bridge a Capability Gap in the GAFs inventory due to the delay of the Eurofighter program. the Brits did the same thing but with their Tornados…
the baseline F-4Fs (only a hand full recieved the full ICE upgrades, most never got the PD radar and AMRAAM support) were Multirole/CAS aircrafts till the day that they were Retired
