Gaijin hyped up Ground Rank VIII so bad nearly two years ago already…

Yet, except for the very welcome recently added SAMs, the MBT rooster remains practically identical to the one immediately after Rank VIII’s release. 50% of the Rank VIIIs being just former Rank VIIs thst were re-labelled from Rank VII anyway. The only new Rank VIIIs that have been implemented after thst update have been Leopard 2A7HU and T-72B3M, if… we count that one xD

EDIT: And most importantly; it’s not just about potential new additions, but about fixes and corrections of all the problems that burden thr already ingame MBTs in terms of armor and mobility.

rank 8 ground has kind of reached its peak in terms of MBT’s before starting to add tech demo vehicles

Let’s take Germany, for example.

Why is Sweden still Germany but better, with 3x uparmored Leopards while Germany has only 1?

Germany still has, as potential additions;

Leopard 2A8, Leopard 2A7A1, Leopard 2A7, Leopard 2A6EX, Leopard 2 PSO-VT, Leopard 2E/A6HEL…

As you can see, plenity of options before getting to EMBT/KF-51 grounds!

Then we have Leclerc XLR, M1A2 SEPv3, Challenger 3 (P)… hell, it may even be time for T-14 after a few of these additions.

Aren’t most of these mostly C&P in terms of WT
Notable ones being the APS of the 2A8 and 7A1

Lineups.

2A8 + 2A7V + 2A7 >>>>>> 2A8 + 2A6 + 2A5

The technology across the board would drastically increase, finally setting lineups on the present day entirely instead of having to rely on spawns from the 1990s-early 2000s.

P/W is about 26, not even within the best ones, I guess it won’t reach that speed easily

I mean, has nearly the same P/W as the Puma, and the Puma can archieve its speed quite fast
