yes but its not a tech tree one we are talking about tech tree one and also 4++ with AESA radar, the C10 Block 60 its still and 3 gen platform with 4 or 4+ technology but even having that its not even close in performance, missile capacity and many other things, and the C-10 Block 60 its the last Kfir variant in the world there´s no other better variant than this one sadly and gaijin nerfed it to the floor.

They pick and choose what applies to “tested”, weaponry is already a thing that falls under tested or even just being “capable”. For example German Mig-29 having R-27Es despite never having even ordered it. Just saying that I have not seen any indication that they have done this in the past when it came to sensors.

Yep. So that is at the very least Germany ticked off the list going from tested to in-service.
and before someone says “but its a T4 Typhoon and we only have T2s”. We’ve got Primary docs for compatibility. Literally the only ones that cant be upgraded are T1s

But Tranche after T1 or T2B5 basically just dictates when it was made and becomes a kinda useless metric for version capability and isnt really comprable to the US Block system
implementing something better than DCS isnt that hard to do, the flight sim that announced a 5th gen to be added still has their RCS as a simple sphere no directionality at all
or their IR missiles, specifically IRCCM is just RNG
ppl only think that DCS is a better simulator because it has the nice clickable cockpits and Simulator in its name but they tend to never even look into DCS to see how bad it actually is

Yes that is my understanding as of now, it’s not that they couldn’t, but maybe there was budgetary concerns or whatever. But as of now none of them have AESA in-service. They did export Eurofighters with AESA/Captor-E so the capability is clearly there and has been there. They (Europeans) also looked into the pre-cursor AESA radar together with France and explored technologies there. France just got going on it soon after and put them into service.
No, France is the only western country to have used PESA in their fighter aircraft in-service ever iirc. Everyone else either jumped to AESA or are planning to jump to AESA.

becasue the article was written in the past tense, before germany got the T4 EFs
so they will have an AESA when they will be deliverd from 2025 to 2030

Somehow the Su-30SM and Eurofighter can now fire and actively guide the R-77-1/AIM-120s with IRST, provided they obtain lock with IRST first and not radar → IRST.
Yep, this is historically accurate. It was reported like 8 months ago for the EFT. Its good its finally been added. Just wish the IRST was a bit easier to use (needs an interface overhaul) and just need our TWS and GMTI modes for the PIRATE now. As well as the Tpod Cueing to locks
