Next Major Update - Rumor Round-Up & Discussion (Part 1)

That I do agree with that. Ive been trying to play a few around that BR and its just unplayable.

Yeah… Wish they’d stop fighting us and move the current top dogs to 15.0, not ideal but would fix most of the problems here.
9.3-10.0 could finally decompress as well as making the SARH only 13.0s more bearable. Maybe I’d finally be able to research the F-2 in peace lol.
Not like there’s a playercount issue. 8.0+ seems to have as many players as every battlerating below it combined.

Mirage version has a working proxy fuse, this wont. Is also in the spreadsheet above.

For the SARH version yes,

Which I did mention.

But still pulls 27G, which should be enough to still DH most of the time. You certainyl wont be able to defend like you can against Aim-7C or R-3Rs

The IR version though does have prox fuse according to the datamine, which still means 4x undodgable IR missiles at the same BR as supersonics with 2x very easy to dodge missiles

Correction, I missread the datamine, IR doesnt either, but still 27G should be more than enough to DH most of the time

you should have just read a bit further

Oh, I was just responding to his earlier posts saying that just the SARH lacked a proxy fuse, but was just going to quote off his newest post lol.

It can have all the G pull in the world but if gaijin code it to have a large variable for actually hitting it still wont hit the target lol. Gaijin for a long time said they didnt want to add falcon missiles to the game due to their impact fuse and it being relatively poor IRL IIRC. Sure its tracker got improved over the very early base models but it was still pretty poor afaik.

Wasnt it like a below 10% success rate or something daft IRL? I predict gaijin making it more of a meme of hopium over actually being good.

If it is good in the end, grand, fun, but I feel theres a reason gaijin have not added it to other planes in WT which have the capacity to use it for a reason lol.

(also, scorpion H for those of us who want more funny scorpions when gaijin!)

It was 9.8% for the Falcons used in 'Nam. And those were the regular Falcons, the ones the F-106 carried were Super Falcons (AIM-4F/G) and were much better. Compared to the Sparrow which was 9.2% over Vietnam and 12% over Iraq.

Considering that half the Falcons problems were lack of sufficient cooling (not modelled in-game) and the other half was poor pilot training (modelled way too well), I think it’ll be a fairly good missile in-game.

So I guess if we were to predict when the leaks and first devblog will happen based on past history, then we should see leak on Monday/Tuesday with first devblog next Friday?

i think Smin said we will get a CM Covert Disclosure next week

dev blogs maybe the week after that or late next week

Ah didn’t see, thanks.

sensor fusion in this game is a f*cking joke.

The week after, Smin said CN No.7 will be next week so it make sense for the Devblogs to be a week or two after

to be fair all missiles in nam had it bad

also poor missile maintnece causing 90% of missile failures its insane when you watch something like dogfights the TV show where they animate it and show 90% of aim-9s failing same with sparrows late aim4 models pull up to 40g

@Smin1080p_WT is The F106 gonna have the genie missile 980ft kill zone would be awesome

Is the F-106 going to have a tactical nuke A2A missiles?

Do you really need that question answered?

hey ya never know unless you ask and dont lie you want it to

Well. Unless you want the F-106 at 14.0, not really.

to be fair you could tone it down to 500FT its a unguided rocket with max of 6 miles range
probably 10.0-11.0 if they work fully heard one irl was used in training and killed a f16
