NGL, mirage 3c fm is pretty good, so i dont think comparing the f106 to it is fair. But, im the same mind as you thinking 9.3 is more than a little stupid. Give me radar missiles at 9.3 and i can make them work, especially as at that br you can sea canberras and the like along with a great many f104s, mig21 and so on who zoom climb. If this thing comes at 9.3 i can bet ill be able to achive my first 5 k/d in a jet purely because you can play passive and run away from most things youll face other than full uptiers.
FYI there are other SARH missiles at that BR right and generally speaking are not that overly amazing? The French have 1 and theres also the early Sparrow too on the demon.

no neccessarily wrong but the Aim-4 seems to be way better than anything else at that br
it is a CW missile meaning it wont be defeated by a single chaff like the French R511 and also is way faster than the other missiles at that BR
and on second thought it is kinda weird that it has CW when its direct successor/ upgrade, the Aim-26 has a Pulse seeker

As we saw with many other event vehicles with new weapons, everything is subject to change and could be wrong and just WIP.
I think chaps need to calm and remember, gaijin will fix the BR/capability of the weapons as needed, its not like they will let it remain a death machine for years.

the Iranian tomcat was for a few months tho
I never had an issue fighting them myself when they got added.
the problem was their br
they were 12.3 and in a downtier they fought against stuff like the F-4C and Mig-21SMT if i remember correctly
and the F-106 at 9.3 will fight lots of stuff without a RWR or even CMs
I’m still waiting for loads of BR changes like fixing the Tonkas and buffs for other aircraft like rendering SRAAMs usable.

Hey so uh @Smin1080p_WT , considering the cockpit of the F-106 looks like this, making using the gun pretty much impossible for Sim, are yall going to give it its proper air to air gun computer as well as its radar aiming scope for the gun?
