i never said they didnt steal but im just saying everyone does it

Literally could just be an NGAD EAP or again, NGAD originally had an unmanned side to the program, which could be what the representative was referring to, but well, we just don’t know.

Fair enough, still Japan and the UK have been working together for quite a while so maybe GCAP will go alright

Sadly JNAAM was cancelled. It has been prototyped with Meteor missile body and a new Japanese AESA seeker, but was cancelled due to French interference. Now both parties are seemingly looking to develop new domestic missiles based on the technological exchange.

Bloody French, they just can’t let us have nice things can they :/

I guess we did screw them out of that whole Australian submarine business though TBF

Now it’s UK and US doing subs for Australia right?

They’re getting SSN-ASUKUS class (based on the in development SSNR class subs for the RN) built in the UK, with 3-5 Virginia Class subs in the interims as a stop gap.

AUKUS class will be built in the UK and Australia by BAE, I believe it is based on a British submarine program, the US and Australia got involved March 23 with the US providing some tech but exactly what is unknown, the US also won’t be operating them, so their involvement is a little odd.

In simple terms it’s Britain designing a submarine for the UK and Australia with the US helping out with some of the tech

The US in AUKUS mean US tech transfer/assistance to UK and Australia to make the subs

The UK & US have been sharing nuclear submarine propulsion tech since the sixties, so adding Australia to the agreement helps with training (as Australian personnel will be sent to both the UK and the US for training), Part of it is buying the nuclear material as Aus has no local production, & prevents any issues with the UK selling Aus the subs.

Does Australia have no nuclear power? That is surprising.

But I suppose if you put it like that it does make sense. They are for the most part British boat designs though, also it’ll be the first British attack sub with VLS I believe which is a nice boost in capability

They still steal a lot more than many other countries.

Could be the same as Have Blue, and that one Chinese 6th gen might be a tech demonstrator too, who knows. What we know is that the US has flown a 6th Gen 4 years before China.

TR3B for halloween event when

i know im just saying isareal stole the mirage blueprints america stole the mep1101 i mean everyone does it m240 bravo machine gun has parts froms the mg42 etc

That’s completely true, but China has stolen more recently, like the F-22 and F-35 blueprints.

Any developing country that wants to be a developed country needs to “steal” the tech from other developed nations, like 19th century US, 20th century CCCP or Japan, everyone needs that step, the question is, why the others can’t?

It’s going to be interesting to see how the line continues.

Gaijin has a category for strike aircraft specifically, but China’s last true “strike fighter” is going to be the JH-7. I say they put the MKK and MK2 in the Strike Fighter line after the JH-7’s, best place for it imo.

I mean, the US has developped stealth jets on its own, you don’t need to, but it just greatly speeds up the process, just look at Operation Paperclip back in 1945. The US already had jets but they were bad, the german research just sped that up.

The US was not a developing country then, but innovation spreads from it’s source, take warships for example, every WWI and WWII battleship was fundamentally inspired by the HMS Dreadnought
