though that’s not true, 20KM is still too far for MICA, it’s energy looses more quickly than other missiles, for it’s light weight, TVC and not limited G load. and it’s seeker is just almost same

It’s the distance you can easily slam a target who isn’t defending the second you launch it, unless you are on the deck and launching at another person on the deck at 20km (where that in fact will not hit), anyone above 1000m who cannot multipath and doesn’t defend properly will die

Yeah, if they fixed the MICA and TVC in general it would probably make the Rafale the better aircraft, and theres no doubt that the Rafale is good, just that the Eurofighter’s missiles are more reliable and the FM is better overall
Also god knows how they’re adding TVC to aircraft when it barely works on missiles and it’s been in the game for over a year now

Depends in game modes if you are up high with a Rafale and 40km away then the Typhoon has the tools to win.
If you are playing ground RB and you are down low within 10-15km the Rafale will have you on toast.
It’s Radar will find you quicker it’s MICA EMs are superior at those ranges and close range the Magic 2 is better than the 9M.
You can try and hide using the PIRATE system and not the Radar but again it doesnt have IFF, If the Rafale finds you it’s very hard to defeat the MICAS and get a shot away.
and Q-5E can also use this model, with 2 TL-10A missile, basically AGM version of C-701.
Still waiting for the PzH 2000s to receive their missing spall liners, the Hungarian one to receive its correct machinegun, and the shell situation to be corrected as the M107 still outperforms the supposed tier 4 OE F3.

-_- not being able to see a target 20km off your nose for 6 seconds with your radar means they launch and defend first in a head on. Imagine giving that ability to your jet…for 6 seconds an enemy radar can’t see you but yours can!

would love it, but the US might be screwed, their naval doctrine basically doesn’t have guided missile ships, they all carry a few harpoons but their primary role is air defense for the carrier, US naval doctrine is to sink ships with submarines and aircraft, whereas Russia will happily blow you out of the water with a warship.
