compare EFT flight performance at 14.0 to Typhoon F3 late at 13.3, same BR gap as EFT to F-22 except flight perf is closer
MICA currently should have much more range, comparable to 120C. MICA NG is counterpart to AIM-120D-3
Mica ng em should be 110km for sure but range is not clear and could be up to 160, mica em is max 80km

war thunder is already in need of decompression, we should already be at 15.0, f22 would raise this to 16.0 at least, the meta is how fast you can go to give an extra boost to your aim120 and the f22 would be better than pretty much everything at that as far as i know rn

It can’t “only” help against IRST, heat is heat it doesn’t matter what is looking, I’m not saying its reduced IR signature alone can defeat IR missiles, but it does improve the efficacy of flares as they appear hotter in relation to the aircraft, which matters a lot more for earlier IRCCM like on the 9M, and less on something like the 9X which is smarter overall

There is no way it would 1 be balanced, 2 not butchered, 3 fair for others nations.
This update was a way to see how well gaijin would model 4.5 gen etc, currently it is not good at all and both eurofighter and rafale are wayyyyyyyyyyyyyy too far compared to what they should be able to do, and their rcs for both are not modelled for now, there is so much amount of problems that hoping for f22 to come another year make more sense.
Isn’t really fair to US that a tactical bomber is fighting 2000’s airframes, one of which was made as an air superiority jet though, but that’s how it is
If you’re referring to the F-15E, it was the best aircraft for a patch, and the aircraft it replaced as best aircraft was the F-15C, you can’t act hard done by about that, and it is still better than anything Sweden, Russia, Japan, and China have.

This is interesting to say. The Eurofighter and Rafale are somehow rank 8 despite being much better than other rank 8 aircrafts although all the technology and features are not currently modeled.
The Rafale has AESA. The Eurofighter and Rafale have IRST, MAWS, LWS, and 360 spherical coverage RWR which are currently modeled. The Eurofighter and Rafale also have sensor fusion and signature reduction along with greater flight performance which puts them over the other rank 8s on the export market.
The decision for Eurofighter and Rafale to be added currently at rank 8 is an interesting choice to say. I would not say that they are of the same era, technology, or have similar features as current aircrafts in-game.
Well the eurofighter does have it’s 360 deg rwr coverage, it’s still not pd maws like it should have. its ir modeled. Everything this patch seems rushed.
You make a good, point, it’s possible they’re just waiting for more “rank 9” aircraft to be added before they raise them all to rank 9

But even then, these aircrafts would still be better than many comparable rank 9 aircrafts if rank 9 aircrafts end up being F-15EX, F-2, Mig-35, and etc.
They’re definitely comparable, but what I mean is I suspect Gaijin won’t add rank 9 until at least the US and Russia have one, right now it would just be Britain, France, Germany, and Italy with rank 9 aircraft, they may be waiting until they can give at least most countries one before moving the Eurofighter and Rafale up, so with the SU-30SM, MiG-35, F-2, J-10C, and F/A-18E or F-15EX for example then maybe we see rank 9 and the Typhoon and Rafale move up
