Is that why most minor nations only receive just 1 or maybe 2 vehicles per update on average?
Yet, some nations receive dozens more, while having less suggestions… For instance, France, Italy and Japan aviation have relatively more suggestions then other nations, on almost every br range. Yet, they receive next to nothing, only a top tier jet once in a while which is mostly just C&P like the Italian tornado or Japanese F-15.
Not only that. They are on average 200-300 vehicles behind the major 3 nations. With some nations only having a total amount of vehicles between 100-220. While others have 300-400+.
For Sweden, Israël and China i understand, they were added relatively late then the big 3.
But, Japan was added nearing the end of 2016 - 2 years after the main 3, yet Japan has 200 vehicles less then the main 3, while having lots of pending suggestions.
Same goes for France, IIRC France was added in 2017/2018, yet has around <200 vehicles while having tremendous amount of suggestions, including a lot which are just slight alterations.
For Italy its the exact same.
So the context has to be different. It should be more like this:
“Once again, there is only so much unique stuff that can be added in a year for minor nations. This year we already added tons of un-altered exported vehicles to minor nations.”
The number of suggestions topic doesn’t translate directly into everything that can be introduced to the game. A suggestion topic being possible does not mean everything is available, practical or achievable to also create a model and introduce that vehicle into the game. There is much more required beyond that.
Typically some of the nations you listed also have dedicated discords with people researching and posting suggestions in organised groups. So naturally they are going to produce more suggestions than those that don’t. They also have some more obscure vehicles that are often not widely known, whereas most people are well aware of the majority of Soviet / American etc vehicles.
See, the thing is, the YF-22 is straight up a different aircraft from the F-22
It’s like a legacy vs super hornet almost. And the mirage 4k, yak 141 are in-game, never entered official service. Cr3 td is here and it’s a tech demo vehicle. So why not both?
Then why is the community put in this darkness of the specifications?
Because, when i look at most of these suggestions, i see beautiful unique vehicles with a rich history, competitive stats of what we currently have ingame.
Gaijin always claims that there are specification to why a vehicle can or cannot be added, yet we never see an example.
I know, i’m in one. I also do research to Japanese planes. From interwar to end WWII. Yet nothing gets added. Look at the G3M variants, Ki-66, Ki-64 and more Japanese WWII CAS, which is very much needed for Japan. Yet we get nothing. The last WWII TT plane added for JP was in 2021 with it being the A6M5 HEI - a foldered zero variant with a worse engine.
Then lets make these vehicles known, instead of looking at them from the suggestions page.

Sure, but it’s a developmental aircraft on the way to the F-22, which effectively rules it out, that’s why the YF-23 may also be included though that one is less certain.
The EAP is a different aircraft to the Eurofighter, but it has also been ruled out for the same reason, theres just no need for the YF-22/23 with the project coming to completion with the F-22
Nobody is kept in the dark at all. However if we raised the standard for suggestions to be for someone to reach the threshold of what’s required to introduce something, the majority of people wouldnt be able to make them.
So the standard is set at the minimum of what’s required to have something considered by the developers. Its not practical or realistic to expect people to reach the threshold of what’s required to fully introduce a vehicle.
The current standard also allows a wide range of ideas and suggestions to be discussed throughout the community and can also lead onto other discoveries.
@Smin1080p_WT are there any plans to fill the 11.3-12.3 gap in China? It’s a pretty large jump in game meta, from IR to radar missiles. A 11.7 or 12.0 fighter would be greatly appreciated.
Where its possible, we are always looking to close up gaps in trees. But as I mentioned yesterday, sadly its not possible to give details currently of spesifically what BR ranges are “in the works” so to speak, as it then narrows down the possible vehicles before they are announced.
I mean, i have well over 200 suggestion, for Germany WW2 and pre mostly. I am shure that with the currect backup in form of a discord server some can be found for other nations, i saw a I Go with 37mm gun for example.
