It’s a pretty big jet. And it’s really, really fast. Only reason top speed is mach 2.2 is to protect stealth coating. Big speed + big weight = big energy on impact. Coupled with the fact that the plane would effectively disintegrate it could release fuel into the air which could ignite like a fuel air bomb. So even though it isn’t made for kamikaze I don’t think it would be half bad at it

@Smin1080p_WT Is a structural change or update planed for Air Sim for next update or next year in general? The mode has seen hardly any change for a long time now and the gameplay is so shallow. Especially with most modern aircrafts added last two years.

Which is not the point. It is the last domestic aircraft that could’ve been a relevant top tier addition, now it’s all sidegrades to others like a Japanese F-35 alongside other F-35s.
That’s like adding the Rafale after the Eurofighter when it no longer is anything to write home about.
Yes it is, not only is the (X)F-2 the first AESA aircraft, but also armed with AIM-7s for BVR initially. And that while prototype J/APG-1 was similar in performance to Rafale’s AESA.
Even early F-2 with production J/APG-1 lack datalink, making AESA more of a novelty than what it is for Rafale, literally perfect to test and refine mechanics without affecting balance.
Sure, a late F-2 with J/APG-2 would most certainly be superior to Rafale, but that is skipping both the initial production variant and the prototype that would’ve made for great additions way before even the last update.
