I just want a WWI update. I think there is a lot there that would be fun and interesting and I can just see the map design in Sim Battles looking absolutely wild.

WW1 would only really work in enlisted tbh, too reliant on infantry to fit into wt
Maybe not a full update but definitely some WW1 content outside of naval. Granted they will be god awful to play but I just want to have the Fokker DR1 or Sopwith Camel.

Could just add only the vehicles that were armed. For aircraft there’s plenty of options to chose from for fighters and bombers. Tanks would be basically nothing but still some that would be cool to see

Did we need a major update to fix the Su-27 flight model? One that was borked for pretty much one whole year? Especially when multiple aircraft in the past have gotten fixes over time, especially following the update, like even the EFT with this one.
It is what it is. I might play here and there but otherwise I’m just putting WT on hold till the F-2 comes and will play other games mostly instead. Though I will definitely log in to cash in on that 50% off 1 year premium.
I don’t disagree here but Germany isn’t just catching up with the EFT. They now have the defacto best CAS + BVR + Dogfighting aircraft. Now I don’t mind that they have the best stuff.
What I do mind is the double standard in holding something back (for example, the F-2 because AESA) and then adding it to multiple nations with multiple aircraft (Kfir C.10 B60 and Rafale F-3R). The worst part is people in HERE were gatekeeping the F-2 because AESA but are absolutely quiet now that Rafale has it as a top tier aircraft and is a WIP on live like we said the F-2 with AESA would be.

I mean, while the F-2 could have been added now, Japan is by far not the worst country at top tier (especially since their F-15C has better FM and slightly better missiles). If they couldn’t manage to add more stuff i think they chose the right planes to add.
It’s certainly not the best situation that 4 tech trees (Japan, USSR, China and Sweden) are left without real top tier aircraft addition in the last 2 updates and find themselves not massively but quite on the backfoot despite all of them having stuff that could easily be in the game already, but the idea that an update sucks just because your favorite nation did not get anything new/is not meta anymore is just wrong.
Balance wise I also think that they underestimated how unbalanced the addition of the F-15E and I with 229s was, without them they couldn’t have just slapped a swiss F-18 to germany and the game would have progressed slower without jumping to EFT and Rafale
