Best bet though, sounds like having them more like 8.7/9.0 with no IRs at all, make them a gun fighter, if they’ve got the 25mm ADEN then they would be good, that gun is a laser canon
They also arent like the TH alpha jet, they only have 2 missiles, so it would be very hard to balance especially since i dont believe they could mount the gunpods like the Finnish 50 cal or the 30mm with missiles
Doubt it, they removed the bombs from the Finnish Mig 21 since they didn’t have them. Think it’s very likely gaijin probably will add maybe the Gnat but skip finnish Hawks. I can see people crying about it getting CM’s so i have no interest in dealing with that.
They’ll probably make the Finish Hawks either premium or event.

Wouldn’t suprise me considering if you want Finnish aircraft you have to pay for it. Again we have norway, stop making the finnish line more useless by making it all premium. Honestly getting the whole shaft is standard for Finland at this point.

They like the US though lol, so far what evidence is there that finland is liked in the slightest. Again im so used to finland being either ignored or made redundant that any Cope of them getting a decent addition to air is honestly more fantasy than real.

Not really, i made a joke saying it might be an event vehicle and honestly i can very much see it being an event. Sweden air has needed stuff to bolster it and honestly F18 is a nice addition but im more than ready for gaijin to make it the worst model in some fashion. The real question is will it be the MLU 2 or the base. Honestly standard F18 may just end up as 13.7 since it cant go mach with full load but later models with stronger engines wouldn’t suprise me if they were higher.
Finnish Hornets were bought after it received an engine upgrade, so it should get that at least, they’ll definitely be at least MLU 1 level with JHMCS but as far as air to ground goes I would expect it to be more limited, though Gaijin did recently give the Israeli F-15I access to Mavericks that it never used so maybe there is hope, with enough badgering anyways, otherwise it’s probably GPS guided only with JDAM and SBD, as their other weapons are too advanced

TBF, Paveway IV is only in use by the UK and Saudi Arabia IRL but all the Eurofighters have it in game, so for balance I don’t see why Finland couldn’t get Paveways at least and even Mavericks if they’re lucky
eh, eurofighters are special case. going by this logic, F-15E should carry JSOW’s (in the future) and SLAM-ER’s as well as popeyes.
Why would the Eurofighter be a special case? Israeli F-15Is have Mavericks now like I said, it seems they’re opening up on A2G weapons a little
didnt they only add them to F-15I since they proved it technically could, and israel has mavericks in its inventory
if finland doesnt have paveways or mavericks in their inventory they probably wont get them
They could also just add the laser JDAMs given that GPS/Laser guided bombs are now a thing in War Thunder
