the solution is only 1 imo, made each vehicle “class” have it own game mode, you want bb vs bb battle? here surface ship only mode, you want to play with or against submarine? here naval combined mode, be ready to spawn asw ship tho
the same with ground, you want ht vs ht, or mbt vs mbt battle? here ground only mode, you want to play with or against cas? here ground combined mode, be ready to spawn spaa or cap tho
i have heard its in the works. but imo, a US nuclear powered carrier shouldve come with the F-14A, specifically the enterprise class since they used a few enterprise class carriers as filming locations for the first movie

Su-27K and F-14A should’ve come out at the same time, tbh. The Top Gun 2 move was a cash grab (I get it), and no one will convince me otherwise.
eh su27k is like 20 years newer than the F-14A iirc, theres definietly a tech difference, but su33/su27k shouldve come earlier

if pheonixes were done right id agree wholeheartedly, even in their current state they shouldve come out at same time (minus the r73 though), and with one of the better AIM-7 to balance against the r27er

Possibly, but the AIM-54C’s kind of make up for it.
People shouldn’t have to wait an entire year to get the things they want. Knowing Gaijin and how they operate, this will just encourage more drip feeding than is already present.
No, there is no “possibly”. The Su-33 beats out the F-14B in almost every situation. AIM-54Cs make no large difference.

I disagree, only thing that really makes it unfair is the HMD+R73. AIM-54C is a wash against R-27ER’s.

Likely someone who hates the notion that older periods should get their additions.
To be honest I find the forums have an issue, that often leads to the ones interested in WW2 (like me) being attacked over wanting the missing stuff from then.
“You have plenty, why do you want more”, “You get additions. points to BPs, Events, etc” (note never count non-TT additions as part of stuff 90% of the time as they are considered unattainable)
And other ways to tell these WW2(and even early Cold War) interested players then shouldn’t get anything anymore.

I haven’t played the F-14, but I’ve seen a ton of Phoenix spam. And the N001 is really a crummy radar. Just speaking my honest opinion. I’m sure the truth is somewhere between yours and mine.

And some of the low tier stuff that is added, is just copy and paste, like the skink, Ram II (tho it’s now where it belongs), and the M44.

That’s kinda their own issue.
Plus, the focus on only modern stuff is really harming war thunder. Decompression is sorely needed, but we now have people asking for better IR missiles and other stuff. New gamemodes are needed, but that’s less important than the shiny new top tier vehicle.

i mean they have gotten just about every relevant vehicle from ww2 into war thunder. cold war air has a lot missing, and i dont know a ton about cold war ground but to my knowledge most relevant vehicles have been added from that timeframe aswell
