It’s a LAV with a Scorpion turret, cursed, I know, but unique.
Besides there are other interesting vehicles like the Lynx or the M113 with the Kramer-Eureka missile launcher turret.

It would belong in a Canadian tree.
It’s based off a swiss hull though. And made by a subsidiary of a US company. With a British turret
Just because two nations are on the same continent doesn’t mean they belong in the same tree.
The CF-105? The UK was the only nation to ever look at using it than just Canada.
The Achilles and AVRE? Wouldn’t exist without Canada building the prototypes.
What nations used/looked at the majority of the Canadian stuff? The UK and BeNeLux.
Until the 80s there was British stuff as primary vehicles and it would be until 2024 that Canada’s WT possible vehicles wouldn’t have a British one in the mix for some time.

NORADs only job(oh an tracking Santa) is to stop nukes from falling on NA it has no power outside the continent.
That’s a pretty important job though no? And they do air defence stuff as well. There isn’t relationship like that with the British, which is why if Canada comes it should be as a folder tree

And said important job doesn’t have anything to do with the combat side of the forces.
And ignores that fact WW2 makes up a large part of WT and Canada was well integrated into the British chain of command to the point we had people decently high up the chain. (And we had to ship everything Canada built to the UK after passing testing in Canada of them to see and green light)
As a “folder”(under the sub-trees rework) Canada makes the most sense in the UK tree.

2/3 of the way thru January and we’re already at 8k despite the next update being in mid March at the earliest haha, classic R&R, never change.

aim 9x is too strong because of the seeker which has IIR
and that also means that other nation will get their equivalent that are either equal or stronger than aim 9x
we are not ready for that yet
also we need higher brs and ways to defeat those missiles and to my knowledge we dont have smart flares and modeling that in game would take a lot of time

In the next update, the rank VIII airplanes will appear in the game. These are still piston aircraft, which are slightly more powerful than rank VII vehicles, but are too much better than rank VI. Therefore they are marked as a separate rank. This is not a “new era” of aviation, but a continuation of the current branches with balance adjustments.
Seems like this will be one of, or the last step before researchable* jets are added to Mobile. It 's possible we’ll see some new mechanics early through them, like how the code for split chaff/flare selection was added there some time before it made it 's way here.
New aircraft appearing there first is also a possibility.
*there are already a few early jets available as flyouts in WTM 's AB Ground mode.

I might not mind if gajin might add J-11BH (PLANAF) for researchable tree and J-11B Early (Block 2) to premium tree (premium pack or event vehicle)
I would cry if J-15 is not in the tech tree.
