Next Major Update - Rumor Round-Up & Discussion (Part 1)

Muh leopards, its DK and Nor to germany all because they want F16’s though it not nearly as big as the AU and Can. I have no interest in my home nation going to germany just because they want to gate keep leopards or because they want the F16 we use. I just want my nation and Norway to be together with our nordic brothers, i guess Iceland can come too lol

How the hell does India make sense in the British tree?

Ok the indian stuff is cool and all but there is still plenty of SA stuff they could and should add before hand

Also several domestic British things…

Japan has amazing relations with modern India, especially all post-ww2 (you can look it up right now, their relations are VERY good) and if Japan got the Rafale EH, I would be glad.

Sub Tree and Sub Nation are 2 VERY different things as previosly stated in the R&R

Nah, Britain is over, gonna get a third subtree next year

Did we forget about the commonwealth? Which was clearly stated to be going in the UK tree

Where was that stated?

Osa wasn’t added instead of anything domestic. We clarified already that it was only added as an addition as people asked for it. It didn’t (and doesn’t) take the spot of something else domestic. Same with the T-90S.

On a devblog I forget which one

Excuse me, I can’t tell for gajin about this. depends on gaijin only

But I might hope somebody not angry gajin about this

F-111C ?

Why is that incomplete

T-90S: [Development] Squadron vehicles: T-90 Bhishma - News - War Thunder

First and foremost, we’d like to let you know the reasons as to why we’re going to be adding this vehicle to the British tree. Britain’s top-tier MBTs are generally niche and are typically geared towards methodical combat engagements. Because of this, additional export MBTs and other vehicles that have ties to some Commonwealth nations will allow for more options and new approaches to Britain’s gameplay. We’d like to note that we are continuing to work on filling the British ground forces tree, which will include various armored, infantry fighting vehicles, and light tanks. These are planned for the future.

And Bison: [Development] Pre-order: MiG-21 Bison - News - War Thunder

Much like South African vehicles, Indian vehicles will be introduced into the British tree.

The only one with a similar mention to that to my knowledge was the one where they announced Britain may get MBTs from other nations, not that they are going to get the Commonwealth as a subtree

Air wise I’d quite like the Atlas Cheater, looks delightfully obsolete upgraded into relevance again.
Ground wise an FV101 to round out my collection (although the Scorp 90 and some of the export modernisations, FV101 FVT900 or the Jordanian Scorp modernisations, would be nice), and a Abbott would be great.

I am fine with OSA to be clear its more that something like Rapier is long overdue and should have been added awhile ago imo.

I never said theyd get the commonwealth as a subtree, thats the only reason SA and India ARE subtrees to Britain besides ties
