My ping / PL has been fine, so maybe
In the stream he mentioned Pakistan and more unspecific choices. Arguably Bangladesh and unlikely Myanmar, but if you look at their inventory, its once again something Chinese or some western designs that Taiwan also has.
This is why we all kicked off because those countries make sense
Its wild to think that the game went from F-4C and MiG-21F-13 to F-4EJ Kai and J-7E in two years, and another two years afrer we hopped right into eagles and flankers.
And somehow they are still entering the game lol, kurnass 2000, ICE, bison and JF-17
Maybe it’s just because there is not much left to add in ground at the top end, so they’re trying to drip feed it for as much longevity at possible, but these top tier aircraft heavy updates have been ramping up in pace so quickly these past couple years.
I hope beyond all hopes that they shift their focus to back to SPAA in particular. It’s been completely stagnant for so long, and fallen behind the CAS curve so much.
I mean ADATS is now five and a half years old, It’s getting crazy.
Big cheese
Will the fact that Scimitar currently drives like a wheeled vehicle and about 6" too deep into the terrain be addressed or do you need me to do a report?
Otherwise it’s not bad.
SPAA and I felt like getting more auxiliary vehicles generally to where they need. 6.7 onwards some trees lacks support vehicles like light tanks, autocannons and others heavily.
Any opinions on the new Camo Box.
So far its mostly meh for me and i really dislike the C&P Camos from older Boxes.
In my opinion some older Camos should come in a extra Boxes like the Thunderleagues Boxes and the Major update Boxes should only contain new Camos.
PS: i didnt want to especially reply to you AWACS, clicked wrong button :)
It’s pretty good imo (sat at a little over a 2 k/d ratio in it) however the gearing feels too aggressive, really doesn’t want to get off the mark and jumps up to 4th pretty much immediately.
Seems like the snail just completely forgot about Israel when picking new things.
You know what is also fitted with the 57mm autocannon?
T-15 barbaris 57
Okay I played too much broken arrow but still, idk, getting the BRM-3K with AU-220 turret as a TT equivilant of 2s38 should at least get f2p Russia mains something equal.
Great, 5 top tier tanks that perform terribly on this games tiny CoD maps and have a unrealistically weak gun breech that spans half the turret.
F4S has better heatseekers, much better radar missiles, HMD, and agile eagle slats all at the same BR.
Yeah, but that wasn’t exactly received well to put it lightly.
So if Gaijin want to play it smart they cash in on the fact that it was only leaked but not announced and either revert back to their original plan of (western) ASEAN to Japan, or another idea completely such as a full ASEAN tree.
China can still get a ton of different subtrees anyways, such as Bangladesh, Pakistan, maybe Iran and the also leaked North Korea. If they do make ASEAN for Japan I’d also doubt it’d go past the founding members with their mostly western equipment, which also leaves nations like Cambodia, Laos and Myanmar to be added to China as well.
China doesn’t have much else outside of what, North Korea and maybe Vietnam? Probably not them, but I know Iran was leaked for the USSR so that likely won’t happen. I do think Gaijin will continue with their already set plans for it, just later.
With the amount of indigenous vehicles still to be added I seriously question if China needs a subtree at all
It would be nice to see certain nations added even if they get added to a tree that doesn’t need a sub tree.
When it comes to China I guess you can say it was born with a sub tree built in (Taiwan).
I question whether Gaijin would add indigenous vehicles over copy and paste.
And I also question if Gaijin will spend more effort modeling them more accurately, the thing that gets CN players the most is seeing inaccurate portrayals of indigenous vehicles.
I mean, even taking away Iran, I still named more countries than founding/western ASEAN would be for Japan. And that is without factoring in that China already has a lot more potential than Japan does, as well as the benefit of two separate Chinese militaries through PRC and ROC
- Bangladesh
- Cambodia
- Laos
- Myanmar
- North Korea
- Pakistan
So by the same logic of “not having much else” that doesn’t really do anything than strengthen the reasoning for Japan, since outside of ASEAN there is nothing in terms of possible subtrees for them at all.
Similarly if they go the independent tree route that leaves Japan completely without a subtree. In this scenario this whole argument falls apart.
Possible, but that wouldn’t exactly be very smart of them considering they have multiple alternative options that will be taken better by the community and a lot of time to work on it since so far there were only leaks and no official announcements.
Honestly at this point I wouldn’t be surprised if the whole leak was only done to safely gauge community reaction without having to take any actual blame.
Honestly I see this a lot throughout the whole game, it’s just more noticeable on vehicles you know more about.
For Chinese vehicles in particular though I feel like they didn’t pick up the US/USSR pace as much as they could now that technology is at that point. They could easily match the flow and capabilities of the “main nations” additions, but for some reason don’t.
