Medals are still there just on a seperate screen (and in higher resolution)

I just liked it when they were front and centre, not hidden off to the side in a little sub menu.

Felt more like you were wearing them on your chest, as opposed to keeping them in a drawer at home, if that makes sense? lol.

Is there anyway now to see the owned / spaded section? Or is this just completely gone?

Number of vehicles and medals is the only thing I flex nowadays. However, the new briefing screen has two big chunks with no infos, hopefully these in the future can be customized. Either medals, favorite vehicles and decals, or a combination of both.

Here’s my prediction on the air meta/top tier for the next year.

You have to look at the rate at which Gaijin is advancing through the top tiers. It’s frankly ludicrous. In the span of one year of major content updates (From December of 2023 up until now) Gaijin has added the majority of 4th gen airframes, including some that could be considered gen 4+.

There’s also the precedent of adding highly-anticipated, meta-defining air vehicles in the December update. It seems to be quite successful in at least driving up the player counts-- which probably means it’s financially successful for Gaijin too.

If you take both of those things into account, 5th gen fighters kind of have to come with the December 2025 update. Obviously there’s no guarantee, and this is all speculation, it just seems like the most logical outcome.

So here’s how I see the update schedule for Air over the next year:

Dec 2024: Hornets, SEAD, ARMs

March 2025: Eurofighter/Rafale early variants

June 2025: ???

September 2025: ???

October 2025: ???

December 2025: F-22, late Eurofighter, MiG 1.44

No way, the F117 ‘stealth’ isn’t even that realistic, nevermind F-22 addition. They will need to do a lot of work.

I think we will see the Eurofighter and Rafale in the June update given that one is usually one of the biggest updates of the year other than the December update.

No idea what we will see in March instead. Maybe some more modern bombers or maybe we could see another update focusing on trainer aircraft like Alpha Strike, but maybe with aircraft like the BAE Hawks, L39, Yak-130 and such. Honestly would love to see an update like this, this is what Alpha Strike should have been in my opinion. An update named after and introducing 2 armed trainer aircraft should have included more trainer aircraft.

if we are getting the EFT early 2025 Japan will probably get the F2 with it

Like I’ve said the F-2 won’t come before the Typhoon and other similar gen jet’s, nothing to do with weapons performance or anything just profit driven.

We defo see rank 9 before these aircraft or at the same time as them.

its interesting we got an Su34 before the Su30 itself which feels really weird lol

Defo not weird right lol

But in all seriousness I think they are just finalizing rank 8 enough to fill it out but also to move some up if needs be.

am i the only one playing on constant 500+ ping since this trash update?

Legacy hornet 1980’s and the early anti-radiation missile (ARM)

GBU-15 other variants and AGM-130 for F-15E

Modern 2nd gen or 2.5 gen and another new gen targeting pod for unique american aircraft rank VII ~ VIII (such as F-15E, F-16C Block 50, A-10C, F-16AM Block 15 MLU and USMC AV-8B+)

Pretty sure the asean stuff was leaked for China except for Thailand, also this was hinted at by BVVD, whatever a “greater China region means”

But it wasn’t originally meant for China
