Next Major Update - Rumor Round-Up & Discussion (Part 1)

Tbh most US aircraft can use datalink so awacs isn’t necessary a lot of the time

Cool I see your point I don’t fully agree with it but I won’t discuss it father because you don’t want to.

once again, how does that work in war thunder for you?

If one aircraft can see a target on radar, it can datalink target information to another allowing it to fire on that target where it otherwise wouldn’t have been able to

nice for you, so useless in war thunder.
thank you for confirming what i said the whole time.

And if they implemented it? Many aircraft in game are capable of using it

Dude he said he didn’t want to argue it…

but yeah exactly why i said it, us mains starting to cry but myy missle, which wont perform as it should be and starting to justify its existence however they could

Yeah I agree most of us mains are like that. I agree with some of there ideas but they complain too much. I am a us main but I don’t think our missiles is what make our aircraft strong (irl) and there are other things that would make us more competitive in the coming years (in game).

oh yeah wont argue that, US armament is shit, but the aircraft itself are great
problem comes to the point when other nations buy US aircraft but add superior missles to them, like the japanese F-15 did with the AAM3/4 and then US players starting to cry why they dont have the best X type of that vehicle in the game. Which will just happen more and more.
Gajins holding back israelian planes would perform way better as well

Have a like, sir

assuming its the tranche 1 BLK 5 with aim120B and Aim9l/i or aim9l/i-1 and started in production in 2003 but that could change soon

Radars, datalink (hopefully), EW systems, pure payload for strike eagles and advanced eagles, a2g weapons such as the gbu-53 and jassms, jsows, SLAM missiles, all the HARMs. 120D won’t be horrible either just not as good as meteors, same with 9x and it’s contemporaries.

We will lack in pure dogfight performance until the F-22 and even then eurofighter holds some advantages.

No and Yes, I wouldn’t call it shit. They just are made to fight the rule and they do it perfectly.

Example 1 : Hey we need something better than the aim-120 for inside the F-22. Well how about we improve the design of it and make it better? It still fights inside the internal bay and has a longer range making it a very deadly weapon but only with a aircraft that is designed for it that is what a lot of people end up missing. Yea if you put a Aim-260 on a F15 it’ll always get outraged but you won’t be able to detect F-22 until you’re in the aim-260s range making it good in its role.

Example 2: Guys the Russian bombers are able to drop guided munitions outside of our interceptors missile range. Well we put a sea to air missile on them so they can get more range problem solved. But what about the their fighters longer range weapons. Well that’s what the F22s internal bay of aim 260s is for.

The point is yes they get outrages yes they are worse directly compared but they excel at what they are made for no F15 is going to be flying into contestant sky’s when there’s an F 22. I know this isn’t in the game yet but it will be competitive later on due to this.

But to wrap it up it’s our aircraft that make our missiles strong.

Nobody plays GSB because it’s a steaming pile of garbage as a mode. It’s just GRB but no third person and you can spawn CAS first spawn, and a lot of the vehicle choices are… poor.

Typhoon with meteor doesn’t really have that many peers. So will either have the advantage in down tiers, be disadvantaged in up tiers against stealth or just be full typhoon on typhoon lobbies.

Id say the biggest issue of GSB is that you cant just play the BR bracket you want like you can in ASB.

Id play it all the time, if I could play the vehicles I wanted to all the time. Its once in a blue moon that the 2 brackets I actually enjoy in GSB appear.
