double railing

Can’t seem to find any real images on it

that doesn’t mean it doesn’t exist

I’ve never seen BVRAAM on inner wing pylons, however the double rail for SRAAMs exists;

ah u beat me to it

BVR on inner pylons is not usually done because the other pylons are literally enough for Real life combat

nobody actually needs 12 Missiles IRL

if you see a Jet with that many missiles it’s just for bragging

if you arent americans and arent overcompensating a lot of times

or swiss and showing your 12 Million CHF loadout

What the heck are you on about? You are asking for actual cruise missiles with GPS guidance and terminal IR homing guidance, they have way more range than the KH-38

No problem.
Well I already saw some “experts” trashing the concept of a lighter 40 ton class MBT, quoting “experience from ongoing conflicts” lol. Probably need to wait and see.

I’m too

tornado and a late EFT can get those

Early T Typhoons I think so

I don’t understand why people believe early typhoons can take less missiles

the goddamn prototypes could take 12 missiles if they wanted to

Well, I’m not complaining 12 is better than 8

Yes they have much more range when you can provide effective datalink but that would literally not be incorporated in game and as for the range IRL is about 110km which is 40km above the Kh-38 but can you fire an Kh-38 at 60-70km away in game? Not at all? But just like the Brimstone it would not be modeled as such. Believing something like that would come at it’s full potential when most new CAS weaponry they add is purposefully nerfed is actually funny to me.

On top of this there is the gameplay aspect. For the P-3 you are going around 400km/h and for the P-8 you can go around 800 km/h but in ground battles you literally will not spawn far enough away from the battlefield to make the range difference between the Kh-38 and the AGM-84E matter at all. Along side this we are talking about vehicles that are literal Pansir bait spawning within the range of it (even if you spawn 18km away in the P3 you are going 400-450km/h and are a 4 engine bomber. You will die.) and unlike some other cas you literally will have a very limited armament and no way to defend yourself (unless ECM is modeled) it would end up just being a goofy plane.

Like if we spawned 40-80km away sure yeah then it would be decent (even though it would have troubles providing effective DL against a tank sized target) but we don’t at all.

Because CAS is busted in 2 nations (Russia with the KH spam and U.S to a lesser degree with the Mavericks), maybe another 3 nations to a lesser degree (Italy and U.K with the Harriers and Fr*nce with Mirage-something).

If CAS is to be busted, then it should be across all nations equally; not just a few while the others lack as capable options or even any options at all.

Same goes for all kinds of vehicles; MBTs, BBs…

If Scharnhorst is OP, the solution isn’t not adding more BBs “because BBs are OP enough”; the solution is to add counterparts on par with Scharnhorst;

If Strv 122 is OP, the solution isn’t not adding more MBTs “because MBTs are OP enough”; the solution is to add counterparts on par with Strv 122… etc.

You know what

Fair enough :p

There is a very simple solution to this CAS inequality:
Stop reducing the GRB BRs of planes above 11.7 to fit into the GRB matchmaking.

I don’t get why this is a thing in the first place, since most SPAAs already struggled against F-16s and MiG-29s.

Actual W take

We also need more Pantsir equivalents, even if they are even better in some cases; but people keep opposing this because “these new SAM systems would be so good they would be able to effectively counter CAS”, so xD.

Pantsir shouldn’t be the peak of SPAAs; Pantsir should be the bare minimum standard for Top Tier SAMs.

So yeah, it’s not “too early” for SPYDER, for SLAMRAAM nor for Type 81 (C)'s radar-homing missiles.
