I mean… its flying… incredibly slow?.. Potent does not mean incredibly overpowered it would be (for the P-8) a literal Boeing 737 flying around 800 km/h with 4 missiles that would be about on par with the Kh-38?

I believe everyone should get SPAA that catches up to current CAS, before we get more CAS which dumps on obsolete SPAA without counterplay.
ADATS is now five and a half years old. Chaparral, OTO & Tansam completely unfit for purpose. Even ItO is outraged by brimmy standoff. It’s getting silly now how much we all act like Pantsir is the barometer for how powerful CAS should be, when only 1/10 countries has an SPAA in that league

Germany just doesn’t have many jets until the Typhoon comes
and that jet will rip and tear once it comes
I completely agree. All nations should get comparable SPAAs where possible. This should not mean that a nation is left behind for CAS, however.

How does the flight performance matter if the plane could fire its missiles from ranges that cover multiple maps?
well we found evidence for 12 missle loadouts
6 asraams + 6 mraams those being used / possible
Ideally they’d increase separation of air and ground vehicles in GRB, putting the really capable CAS outside the BR range of the top tanks, making them more of a de-facto opt-in

Yes. Ideally, in all avenues, however that isn’t possible for everyone, unfortunately, due to some nations having fewer options.
we only realy found the evidence to support it recently, before that was a lot arguing

Yeah, I was exaggerating mostly because of frustration. I still believe that a 50-ton weight class tank isn’t too likely to be considered though.
4 BVR on the Fuselage semi conformal pylons
6 BVR/WVR on the inner 3 wing pylons of each wing
2 WVR on the outer most wing pylons
Its a subsonic missile that A) would have the range of the Kh-38 and B) would pretty reliably be able to be intercepted by SPAA

Where? I think the Red with Yellow Highlight is reserved for Internal Fuel, Bombs, and Optics
thats the 12 missle one, with 1 double rail for the wvr
