The F-2 will most likely be in that line, just hope gaijin doesn’t screw us over by making rank 9 lol
Mainly due to I can still research it via the F-5 lmao
~not to be too controversial but gimme ordered east german su27~
Don’t wanna spoil it for you, but it’s not a great plane
It’s errr…Not great since you face ARH the second you get uptiered by as little as 0.3
If Gaijin reworks Flanker flight model then it might be worthwhile.
Do the same for the Fulcrum as well.
Even if not many people use it, having more options is always better. Ground radar is highlighted as a key feature for the F-15E, so the number of users shouldn’t matter. Adding a combined search mode alongside air-only and ground-only scanning modes would simplify things and avoid unnecessary complexity. But honestly, that’s a minor issue—what’s most important is clearly distinguishing it from mechanically scanned radars.
Well I was mainly grinding it so if it got removed I can still keep it.
Yeah, though I’d rather have a fleshed out subtree representing all the Founding ASEAN countries with unique vehicles over a rushed out initial subtree of only Thailand with more C&P and other countries at the risk of being the “India” of Japan (premium-locked nations), even if such a subtree takes them a few more updates to release.
Besides, it’s F-2 time very soon (hopefully at least), so I feel like they would do good using that hype now and the subtree hype later. Though I wouldn’t mind a nice Thai F-5T added now, separate from the full subtree, as a nice bit of foreshadowing.
There are hardly any users of anti-ship missiles in War Thunder, yet people still hope for the implementation of ASM-1, ASM-2, and ASM-3. What matters is the ability to use them, not the number of users.
Same reason i went for it.
Honestly its OK… not great not terrible and the match maker could be better.
As I say the F-2 would mostly come in the second line since,
A. The F-1 already in there
B. Make sense for it to come after the AJ
C. The first line already got a ton of F-15’s
And because the 2nd line is the obvious “indigenous” (i.e. Jag/F-16 at home) line while the 1st line is the obvious import line.
Well imagine it from a player perspective if you combined it. Having to cycle through ground targets needlessly when you really want to find the air target to use TWS on. Even multi locking air targets seem painful to use for someone using cyclic targeting.
Oh yea that too
And ASM-2 and ASM-3 have potential to hit ground units.
ASM-3 even has a semi anti radiation mode.
This is a tweet from DMM’s War Thunder PR account. Could it be…?

“[Spot the Difference] In order to completely overturn the state of activity of my brain after the New Year’s holiday, I came up with a military farce. It’s a wonder of digital technology. Do you understand? The left is the processed version. And the right is the actual version. Look closely. And now to the main point: the Self-Defense Forces are not equipped with this type of F16.”
Holy Carp! New clouds!
War Thunder JP acc for DMM?
It’s totally this (F-16 with intake canards in Godzilla vs Mechagodzilla II).
The comments are from a year ago?
