We both know it won’t be.
yep… I guess there is the hope the F2 might be in the gripen line but considering its a pure fighter im gonna be stuck grinding the tornado F3 Late
Also if you want something very silly, Vietnam put laser rangefinders on their bmp1s.
Also they have captured f5s and a37s.
and that my second fear, they will just add a ton of F-5’s and call it a save
Considering how many F-5s there are from Thailand, that is most certainly what Gaijin will do.
The F-5 and F-16 are the Leo 2A4 and 2A6 of the air
At least that means japan will probably get some m48s. They need them.
The Gripen is also up there, too.
Not really. Japanese ground is actually in a fairly good state right now. There are problems, like top tier SPAA, but there aren’t nearly as many as there was.
And the fact that none of them climb. I took the J-7D out for a few matches today and I was the only one at altitude on my entire team. Someone needs to teach these people their missiles only work when people can’t see them.
While on the topic, I guess this would be a great time for people to look at the recent suggestion for the combined ASEAN Founders subtree.
It includes the founding ASEAN nations of Indonesia, Malaysia, Philippines, Singapore and Thailand, conveniently providing the more western aligned ASEAN nations and a level of future potential that would make the Japanese tree similar to what Britian or France achieve with their subtrees.
And all of that while making use of the available selection of vehicles to focus mostly on the unique and interesting additions rather than C&P that so many players dislike.
Meh. Everything is made of paper
Don’t play them like heavy tanks, then.
Is there any other option for an early war jet bomber other than the indo beagle?
Edit: oh there it is :D
Idk, I prefer the Thai Modernised FV101-76s, fancy modern thermals, LRF, & a FCS. Keeps the manual traverse and elevation though lmao
Yea the only trouble Japan has right now is dealing with helicopters as optical isn’t as foolproof if the pilot knows to stay low, or in some maps unusable like with mountains (and of course especially at night).
Bombers are very sparse in general, most aircraft generally being more attack aircraft than bombers. The only bomber we didn’t include was the Indonesian base model Il-28, but the Il-28T seemed like a more interesting variation so we picked that instead.
Though this is arguably a line Japan can contribute to a bit again by maritime patrol aircraft like the P-2J, P-3C and P-1.
Post Rank V the organization of the tree is basically:
JP import fighter | JP domestic fighter | ASEAN fighter | ASEAN attack | bomber/maritime patrol
these need experience.
I can both play it with or without climb, attack from above is a good way to make enemy unawared, but the key is you need to guess if they are watching their ass, and this need a lot experience
Afaik Tranche 1 later received A2G capabilities (integrated after block 5).
At least from Italian suggestion.
Yeah from reading it seems that Blk 5 introduced air-to-ground and PIRATE, but air-to-ground was still limited until Tranche 2.
