one of my way of judeging if some one is a rookie, is by whether he choose PL-5B or PL-7.
If pl-7 it means he rely on extrem close range shoot to get ensured kill
If I’m gonna guess:
US: F-15C with AN/APG-63(V)2 or F-18E
RU: Su-30SM? or Su-30SM2?
JP: F-2
SWE: Gripen E?
Yea but I think it would be silly not to get anything on the biggest update of the year.
It’s not impossible, Japan didn’t get anything for Apex Predators besides 9L on the EJ Kai, but every nation has an option now with 4.5 gens.

Gaijin will probably add Gripen NG, which is just a C but with the radar and other avionics from the E. Gotta make the TT last a bit longer othwrwise how are you gonna sell premiums?
Or they could finally learn that the MS20 only exist for 2 nations in game and leave the only non MS20 gripen as a MS19 like it is in real life

Oh I didn’t know that was a thing. Yea, I was looking at it from whatever could get it AESA/PESA to match up with the other aircraft. EFT PD radar is as good as early AESA anyway and Rafale has PESA.
I don’t know any of them really but Ru: and it should really be Su-30SM and Su-33 (assuming we have to keep the Su-33 in the update).
F-15C with the whatever radar and like an F-18A or some slightly gimped F-18C (because the Su-33 should be gimped if released accurately).
Well gaijin doesn’t even know about the MS series and since SAAF doesmt have any offical docs stating what model they have Gaijin wont stop giving it MS20 upgrades despite them not purchasing the vehicle so its another F16AJ situation. Regardless NG would be kinda pointless and so realistically sweden has 2 vehicles left with how they set up the treem the Gripen E and the Finnish MLU 2 so its a pretty awful state besides the numerous other problems caused by gaijin not correctly arming/naming the vehicles.

what does an early F-18E really have though? the radar is decent but nothing gamebreaking, same missiles, maybe gets JHMCS maybe not, similar a2g. flight performance good but not a UFO
Early models don’t have AESA radar, so you’re okay there, but you can have 12 AMRAAMs, which could make you OP.
su27sm can carry 8 r77 and 4 r73 on a faster airframe, a super hornet isnt going to be going fast enough to take full advantage of the range, especially if its carrying 12
Yea I’m not sure what Sweden gets that’s Gen 4.5 since this the gen 4.5 update it’s looking like. I just figured Gripen E, but if NG gives it the AESA radar while keeping everything else the same that works?
Just spitballing honestly since those nations should be getting something equal to other Gen 4.5s.

if they give it better missiles they wll give every other US top tier better missiles, so itll be the same as everything else

And just because the Flankers are my favorites doesn’t mean I won’t be disappointed if the US doesn’t get a very nice F18…I want one of those too!
The other thing I’m disappointed about…I’m two Hell’s away from even being close to a Euro Fighter 😭
