And it’s also a vehicle of German origin. So it’s in the same boat as the polish P-47 anf firefly.
Seeing how boring the list is for ground, eh I would rather not imagine lol.

Let’s be honest. The Typhoon wouldn’t be added any sooner without the Hornet.
No hornet would just mean longer suffering for certain nations.

Seems to depend who you ask lol. I have seen pretty much every bit of the spectrum between “it will be balanced” and “it’ll destroy everything with ease” in this thread lol.

Well depending if the F-18C in Finnish service can mount the 10 AMRAAMs
if you mount 10 AMRAAMs on a jet that does Mach 1.68 MAX, in an empty configuration at perfect altitude then that will be a very slow Jet
Fighting others that go Mach 1.6 at sea level
any F-15E/Is missile will reach you first, maybe even before you could position properly

But still 10 AMRAAMs regardless of flight performance will be quite powerful
the Finnish ones are weird, they also still have the APG-65
now if it’s alittle faster my point doesn’t disappear tho, you’ll be much slower than the competition and it will be a Major Inconvenience

well, not really
if you fire these AMRAAMs at a lower speed their range and speed will be Lower too
it’ll be easier to evade at any distance
try out the SHAR or AV8B+ to see that in action
Ofc I know that but the AMRAAM is still an AMRAAM it still goes far even on a subsonic platform, which the F-18 wont be THAT slow afaik which we also have to consider flight performance in the case of warthunder
now, compare it to a Eurofighter
that one can take 4 AMRAAMs semi conformal in the fuselage hard points which will give it less drag
and then it also has what twice? the thrust so it can actually reach an OK speed at low altitudes
with PD radar only on the Tranche 1 and EW not really being implemented yet it would be balanced Right now but, it would Still be better than that F-18

Ofc the F/A-18 is somewhat comparable but the Super Hornet is more or less the counterpart imo but still ofc the EF will be better
