Imo the F/A-18E and by extension the F is our direct counterpart to the Typhoon and Rafale not offering much over them but not lacking much either other then less engine power when it comes to the Typhoon, the Rafale though im not too sure, flight performamce wise the Super Hornet can keeps up for a few good turns and maybe some very snappy low speed snapshots but the Typhoon and Rafale have much better energy retention

That’s what I was curious. We didn’t expect the Typhoons this update, who is to say they don’t go to the F-18Es directly?

Fair but against early Typhoons and Rafales? Itd be a stomp in favor of the Super Hornet
@Smin1080p_WT Sorry for the ping, but I’m just curious if there is any info/news regarding AESA and PESA radars that you are able to share with us at this time.
For example, the last time I pinged you I asked whether US aircraft may be getting their AESA radar upgrades rather than adding later variants of vehicles we already have in game (of course when the time is right).

Yeah I wouldnt want to see an F/A-18E without at the very least AIM-120-C5
at that point may aswell add a legacy hornet first
(I’d even prefer seeing an F/A-18A without AMRAAM too because that would put it at a nice BR)
I really hope the devs decide to give the UK a Revenge class too, that is the one vehicle that i want in game and have been asking for years

The opinion that the F-2 is superior to the Rafale or Eurofighter is very silly. There is a huge difference in engine thrust, armament that can be installed, etc. Besides, the F-2 has never been equipped with HMDs from the first model to the present, and only ADTW has the 4th generation AAM, while the regular squadrons deploy the aam3.
