Indeed all they want the Swiss for is the F-18C. but I want to see Swiss stuff as TT so it should be its own tree as being part of Germany means all their stuff will be event.
Can’t say mutch bar I agree for the most part.
Once again perfect. If you ask me Japan only really needed the one nation not 20.
I 100% agree with the fact the UK had more than enough domestic vehicles to not need a sub-tree. At worst the major Commonwealth nations should have been split like this for TTs: UK, South Africa, India, Canada + ANZACs.
Tho I’d prefer if the ANZACs got their own tree as well.
Well, I’m a fan of 4+ nations in a tree it is better than Soviet/eastern vehicles in the Italian tree.
And once again I fully agree with it. the BeNeLux tree existed to cut down the C&P needed for just a single tree for these nations and have plenty of stuff left over. And on top of that, France has plenty of stuff to be added.
At this point, if Gaijin isn’t willing to do proper research sub-trees should stop being added altogether. Or at least use the community research to make new full trees.
I don’t mind C&P export stuff being everywhere because it it in RL, but I do have a problem with how it’s happening. With C&P being picked before the unique stuff for researchable stuff for sub-trees. This ends up with C&P doing nothing but being an easy(and lazy) way to buff the tree. This has gotten so bad that the sub-tree C&P is being used to sell the tree. C&P should never be the selling point of a tree, so the nation doesn’t have a MBT to be a selling point? use something else, Lights/WW2/APCs and IFVs/Aircraft, the list goes on. I can easily name what should be the selling point of a certain nation that isn’t MBTs.
Issue is that its the Gripen E not the Gripen C. So too strong for right now, but not far off.
As for AAMs… that easy to fix. The SAAF Gripen never used Aim-9M, instead used IRIS-T. So just replace the AAMs with something appropriate if too strong
A bit, though I think a bigger issue was adding BOL pods and things of the like on fighters. I just don’t think you can balance the game when you have so many CMs on a single plane just blanketing the skies. On a strike aircraft that can only defend itself, sure, but fighter planes should have the option of periodic flare dump to be immune.
Perhaps, though I think the burn time reduction for BOL mitigated that quite a bit and the flat nerfs for BOL were just unncessary, many aircraft are suffering from that nerf rather unfairly.
Only really the Gripen is an edge case issue where its not having issues
for the tanks, yeah, 5 of them with additional japanese design would completely fix the line-up issue in the upper section, this is not where Japan suffer the most. and they still have a few designs to add. But Thailand also have a dozen more vehicles still in service that would help as well.
for aviation, yeah, adding the many aircraft that Thailand had used and still use would definitively fix the lack of vehicles that Japan offers. maybe you need me to make a list, but i recommend you to spend 10 minutes and use Google to look around. Thailand have like 5 variants of the F-5, 2 variants of the Gripen, 6 variants of the F-16, and many other aircraft still in service and more that was withdrawn. so they will really fix most the issues Japan has.
the Grippen J39C can be added right away with a simple reskin, but the J39D may need a new model. i am not sure what new feature the J39D have over the one we have ingame
Jeez dude, not every nation gets a full tree, it’s as simple as that, just be happy that Switzerland is coming to the game at all. It not all about ‘who needs what’ anyway, it’s also about adding vehicles from nations that maybe Gaijin doesn’t want to give a full tree, but they still want to add some vehicles from that nation. Britain didn’t need South Africa, but they were added anyway because they have some unique and interesting vehicles.
Searching for “Thailand Gripen” just gives back a load of results for Gripen E/F and nothing for Gripen C. That’s all. If Gripen C then yes, can be added whenever
