Next Major Update - Rumor Round-Up & Discussion (Part 1)

That’s another conversation.

I’m in this:

Why would Yugo (which has less to offer in every aspect of the game then BeNeLux except for maybe ground) become independ when BeNeLux is a sub-TT.

Because it doesn’t really have anywhere to go. USSR would be the closest thing but:

  1. USSR already has 5 lines and there’s no precedent for nations getting more than that

  2. Yugoslavia was a politically independent country during the Cold War, they didn’t side with NATO or Warsaw Pact really so the political connection isn’t really there.

Then why add it in the first place if it can only provide a solid ground lineup?

“Because they have interesting tanks”

Well, Congo, Rwanda, Nigeria, Laos and Djibouti also have interesting tanks, but these arent in game, arent they?

Would be fair if this game was political but it’s not, as you can clearly see with India lmao

Because getting new unique vehicles is cool and interesting and motivates people to play the game.

Benelux is at this point confirmed to be a Sub TT of France and Gaijin 99% won’t go back on that so there’s not really much use talking about it being an independent TT.

Yugo on the other hand doesn’t have a TT to go to as a subnation, but still has enough things to warrant it being its own tree.

Sure, with air there are few vehicles but enough of those are unique model to warrant implementation, and with ground there’s a bunch of stuff that would be really unique and fun to have in game. And as I said, naval doesn’t matter because China, Sweden and Israel don’t have naval lines either but they’ve been in game for years.

Yak-141 was a prototype combat aircraft with all of its systems planned, trialed or derailed.

EAP was a technology demonstration aircraft with no combat capacity.

They are not the same. Not sure how many times this has to be said for the same people to understand that.

Isn’t there a brochure you can base some paper airplane off of for the Typhoon?

for real. small nation treatment… only way we’ll get something good is when the USSR has ICBMs and spacheships

Hi smin. Are there any plans to realize the full planned features of the freestyle? Namely introducing R-77s and R-73s and placing it as a 13.3/13.7 aircraft, or a seperate version that does so.

Tictac ufo’s first for the major nations 😂

quiet different. 141 was built to be fully fuctional, you can know it’s radar, weapons and other parts that not finished yet.
but eap, it built to test the aerodynamic design and flight control system, there wasnt any plan about what radar or weapon it will use, the loadouts are just counterweight to test its flight performance.

so dev next week?

We never said this at all.

What we did say was AIM-9L was not planned (L is all aspect J is not) because the Phantoms sit currently on or around the average for their BR (the ideal target for all vehicles).

Giving them an all aspect missile would result in a BR increase. Which in the context of when that answer was given would also mean a rank increase when there was insufficient remaining vehicles on that rank at the time.

regarding that, is there any consideration for one of them to be given 9Ls at some point?

considering both are currently identical for game purposes
