Next Major Update - Rumor Round-Up & Discussion (Part 1)

Arrow-3 was purchased specifically to counter a hypothetical ballistic missiles threat. Wether Germany actually needs that capability is a different story.

Looks like the b00b n1pple gun from the Empire Strikes back.

Arrow-3 is an exoatmospheric system.
Russian missiles that would be fired at germany would come from Kaliningrad which is too close for the missiles to go exoatmospheric.
For Germany it has absolutely no use because Russia has no system that it would defend against.

It was specifically made for Israels threat from Iran.
Medium range, conventional armed ballistic missiles.
That is not a thing that Russia has or plans to have cause it makes no sense for them.

Yes, the main argument was that it’s better to close the capability gap now, should the threat arise in the future. Although one could definitely argue that more IRIS-T SLM or Patriot batteries are needed more urgently.

I mean, it’s just going to be the Yak-141 situation. So why not add it?

Still find it funny how they stated how they can’t put J’s on our Phantom’s “as in would put it up a rank higher”

Instead of leaving the current as is just add early to it’s name, then add the same phantom with the J’s call it late and boom add that to the higher rank.

I think Yugoslavia is more likely to come as an independent tree, provided the successor states get thrown in which will be controversial

It’s not a question of think here, but a question of reality it’s a fact that the nations we have now came from when they were premiums within other nations.

Considering how there zero Yugoslavian tech in game but almost a dozen of Polish, Czech and Slovakian tech it safe to say Poland has a high chance of being the next nation.

Pretty certain Zimbabwe is the next big nation coming to your local WT launcher update.

He isn’t wrong, Italy, China, France, Sweden, and Israel all started out with event/premium vehicles for another nation

Howcome?

The proposed Yugo air TT has only 3 lines from which a lot is C&P
Same goes for their naval. It’s very tiny - way, and way tinier then the proposed BeNeLux TT.

Air:

Spoiler

Their ground is oke and better then BeNeLux.

Naval:

Spoiler

Their submarine navy is non-existent almost.

I don’t know why people think Yugo would be a better option for a standalone TT.
Everything except ground has way less additions the BeNeLux.

But arguably besides France and China, all of the early premiums are design of the main tree.

I mean, Israel is three lines only and pretty much every vehicle is a foreign design or a modification of one.

And like you said, the ground tree would be really cool especially for Cold War vehicles.

And naval isn’t really relevant because almost a third of nations present in WT don’t have a naval line anyway.

But then why would you prefer Yugo with three lines when you can have BeNeLux with 5 lines?

Benelux isn’t gonna be a nation so that quiet a bad comparison it’s actually better if you compare Poland.

Because I’m a ground player, and ground stuff interests me more. Of which Yugoslavia has more stuff than Benelux. That being said, both would be really cool additions to the game.

Israel could easily have another line be it subtree or prototypes but Gaijin doesnt really feel like it
