And now we’ve got confirmed, at the very least, Leopard 2RI (along with, sadly, possibly a 2A4) and “others” (Maybe PT-91, apart from… that one Light Tank?)
I wonder why on the Russian SAMs every AESA is indeed a AESA one, but on the Western side its litarally RNG if its AESA or just TWS+ (mostly are missing AESA…)
they would have the same disadvantages as they do now but even more so and less of the advantages they do have over the sepv2
sure it goes from 63 tons to around 68 but it also gets a suspension upgrade and better power distribution so the speed wont be much different
you heavily underestimate the abrams armour the ufp will richochet most the time the lfp 1: already can be annoying with fuel tank bias and the sepv3 gets a du hull and a lot of turret armour upgrades and if gaijin made the turret neck armour correct and the visual model correct you might find that to be wrong
and the sepv2 is already a perfect counterpart for 2a7s/122s trading a bit of armour and survivability for better mobility firepower ammo stowage and thermal sights
is this a no you wont answer the question or no the us isnt getting the GBU53 any time soon
It comes from the fact that TWS ESA is attached in the same spot as the tracker radar. They have no way of making ESA attached to search radar rotation, so they do not do it, as they would have to either do ESA update in a full 360, or a small zone somewhere. In tracker cases, they can just set it up the same way they do the trackers, so it’s a non issue.
Also, none of them are AESA, they are all PESA.
what i justed asked 🙏😭
pikachu genuinely trolling US

lets get back to topic: What planes can carry the GBu 53?
The F15e the F16c i think are the only 2 at top tier that would im not sure about the superhornet
SEPv3 is basically years long overdue by now.
It should have come alongside the horde of Strv 122s, or, at the VERY least, alongside the 2A7s. Yet… here we are still.

C-Tech Leopard 2A4 for Indonesia, I must get
Harimau/Kaplan?
Oh, hey, hey! If it’s a C-Tech, now THAT would be a quite interesting…
Oh, my, PICTURE THIS; C-Tech, DM33, 11.7.
THAT would make sense, and THAT would be something I would look forward to! An additional spawn to the Type 90-based lineup. A Type 90 sidegrade itself, trading rate of fire for armor protection.
I would be bored if it were yet another B-tech 10.7 Leopard, but… if it were a different, higher potential version… it could be a much more exciting vehicle, in my opinion!
Yes, that!
im in shock how much people are underestimating the SEPV2
Again, incorrect.
The SEPv3 takes a massive mobility hit. The 66.8 ton weight figure from the suggestion puts it in line with the SEPv2 w/tusk, which isn’t even close to the most mobile tank at top tier lol. Hell likrly even less mobile thsn the 2A7V.
Like I said. Go play the SEPv2 with TUSK equiped in game, you’ll see the mobility drop hard.
The LFP is a almost guaranteed one shot kill against the Abrams every time I hit it there. Either that or it’s crippled beyond repair.
Also people have done guesstimates on the SEPv3s hull armor. The absolute very positive guesstimates were 600mm vs KE, but more realistic guesstimates only gave it around 520mm vs KE, which put it considerably behind the 2A7V.
- The 2A7V has gen3 thermals vs the SEPv2s gen2
- They are far from perfect counterparts lol. There is one thing that almost every decent top tier player generally agrees on, which is that there are no true 2A7/122 counterparts.
You haven’t even played any of the SEPs, so yeah I wonder why I take your opinion on these tanks with a large amount of salt.
The SEPv2 isn’t even the best Abrams in the US tree lol.
SEPv2, added in 2023, is the same as SEP, added in 2022…
…which is the same as base A2, added in 2019 (minus thermals)…
Basically, every single nation has been getting sweet, unique, different, upgraded vehicles while the U.S has been getting the exact same vehicle for 7 years.
Naturally, I look forward in excitement to the ONLY chance the U.S has of finally getting an MBT that’s not exactly the same as all others.
SEP and SEPv2 should have improved turret armors, but… Gaijin “accepted” the reports and continues to ignore them after all these years.
They could have given at least SEPv2 M829A3 as well, which in their own words “would not change anything”, just for the placebo effect; yet they don’t either, so… yeah. It feels like the same all over and over again.
While y’all are busy guessing what’s coming next major I’m more curious when we’re going to see BR changes that aren’t soiled by the excuse that “we read feeback but we won’t do anything about it, we shall keep observing cuz X is still selling well enough”.

( we all know what X is)
I don’t know how much of an improvement C-Tech 2A4 is over regular 2A4 but hopefully its not 11.7. Ideally it comes as 10.7-11.3 because there’s lots of Japanese CAS that need a ground lineup. Even 11.3 would be sweet, the F-5 CAS got left behind when Type 90 + Type 81 moved up, at 11.0/10.7 there’s lots of CAS that have been added but w/o a ground lineup to help.
Also something weird I found out recently (no idea if its true) is that apparently the Indonesian Leopard 2A4+ are C-Tech but the Leopard 2RIs are apparently B-Tech?
Harimeow :3
Slightly off topic, but I think that the Leclerc is probably the oldest in game tank at 12.7.
It was added in 2019 and has been barely changed besides the reload buff, yet it got moved up everytime over the last (almost) 7 years. It’s wild to think about.
yes it does get heavier but also gets upgrades to compensate just not direct engine power
not talking about the LFP armour more just the 2 fuel tanks can mess you up due to volumetric but im not gonna bring “if” in to the debate because thats unprofessional
1: more talking about the 122s
2: people over estimate the leopards way to much the slower reload and worse nato hump and worse ammo stowage compared to the abrams i really dont see the glaze for them
the sepv1 is the best because its lighter and less ugly and no i havent played any of the seps i am aware of that but i can still have an opinion on them
The 520mm KE guessimate on the lower plate comes from early DARPA testing on potential hull armor upgrades in the 90s; it has nothing to do with NGAP since that started testing in 2015. But since there is literally no info on what NGAP armor value could be, I can see Gaijin using that DARPA armor value, possibly or they might just leave it with a sepv2 hull.
