Next Major Update - Rumor Round-Up and Discussion (Part 2)

Clearly Russia doesn’t simply need the T-90M, it requires the T-14…

If they get the T14 i expect we get the CR3 so not coming now maybe another year

@gromvoiny any chance you could comment on if China may receive a new Rank 7 premium for ground or not?

Hopefully not.

Last I heard Sweden withdrew. Could be wrong though.

Why? Have something against China getting a premium?

Feels like a massive waste of resources if these will only be the upcoming premiums, would be nice to see if 3-4 more premiums come in.

That is entirely your speculation, the only info we have about the armor of M-84AS2 is that M-84A has armor able to stop standard 105 APFSDS and that with all upgrades they compare favorably against T-72A. And that the ERA is said to be equal to Relikt, that kind of protection is still less then the BVM at least based on the info, also what is the performance of the new domestic APFSDS? Is it 500 or what that is also quite relevant. And 500 at 2km wouldn’t be that much at top tier.

he already said only a medium amount, together with the other leaked ones we would come out to a medium amount

I’d like to believe there is still a little wiggle room in what counts as medium. How many premiums did we get last December?

one for each nation + a few ground and naval i think

counted them 15 was last december

I’m probably to tired to fully understand.
You guessing that if everyone that doesn’t have tier VII will get one and come out to medium or that the leak list itself counts as a medium amount.

By 2030, the Leopard 2a8 will be like the A7V now. Especially since the main ground combat system or the KF-51 will spread by then. Pandur II has been in service since 2001, in Germany there is also talk of a Boxer successor of the same age. (rheinmetall hitron 8x8) and can also swim. CV-90 mk IV is a great mature technology, but already obsolete by 2030, it has no active protection. mkV is being developed by the Swedes.
(A hybrid electric propulsion system will be proposed and potentially integrated to this version
The C4ISR system is to be fully digitized
Improvement of the heat, radar and visual signature management of the vehicle
Integrate Beyond Line Of Sight (BLOS) anti-tank guided missiles. The Akeron MP is the next long-range shoulder-launched anti-tank missile, and it has a BLOS capability.
Integration of UAVs. This variant might be ordered, and it would extend the life time of the CV90 in the Swedish Army beyond 2034. An upgrade of the IFV variant (strf 90) including some of these elements is very likely. Initial tests involving the use of the Akeron MP and of a UAV have been performed in January 2023)
All this can be said: by 2030, the Czech armed forces will be obsolete by 1 generation of moderately developed less.
Helicopter: the UH-1Y and AH-1z, developed in the mid-2000s, will be obsolete by 2030.
The winner of Future Attack Reconnaissance Aircraft will be the new Bell V-280 Valor, from which the AH-64 successor will be developed. Hungary considers 2 combat helicopters a possibility instead of Mi-24. AW249 or the Turkish TAI T929 ATAK 2 are both under development. F-35 universal fighter less by 2030. At the moment, it has not been decided what type Jas-39’s successor will be. There was a chance for an F-35, but it’s expensive, there’s a problem with that type. Otherwise, the KF-21Boramae is focused on Europe, as is the Turkish TAI TFX. We are in no hurry, the Hungarian government will decide on the successor of the JAS-39 after 2030.
This is how you can say Gidrán 4x4, which will become an anti-tank and Nomád 4x4, which will be regularized, and which will become Turkish, Hungarian and German development.

i would say the leak list , it is like 5 is a medium amount of premiums, king of the hills was a small amount. december just was an exception with 15 because they were copy pasta mostly.
Tanks need a bit more modeling detail work

Escargot strikes again with incompetence then it seems.

Then I think we could still have 2-3 more wating to be revealed without it going over “medium” but I guess we’ll just wait.

jesus calm down on the hopium, how does a lithuanian vehicle make sense as a polish cbt premium

Noone even ordered the KF-51, and it’s still prototype/tech demonstrator there is no way the by 2030 it will spread. At best it will have some orders and maybe one operator.

The Czech and Slovak variants will be equiped with Iron fist.

Are aware that between the order and delivery can be time of several years. All the newer vehicles you listed are at best prototypes and in some cases just studies. That is in no way comparable.

E: fixed KF-51

You mean KF 51
