Also the fact that AAM-5 is compatible with the base LAU-114 launcher would mean that the late models of the F-1 can technically carry both AAM-3 and AAM-5 since they were retrofitted with LAU-114 when modified to carry AIM-9L. I know they expanded the amount of LGB on the Tornado because it’s “theoretically possible”, so it would be interesting to see.
As for AIM-120 it should be theoretically possible to carry it on a pre-MSIP that went through a separate IRAN.
Top is LAU-106/A and bottom is LAU-106A/A. The 106/A only has the AIM-7 umbilical while the A/A has the AIM-120 one too.
Compare that to a proper J-MSIP which has a dedicated AAM-4 umbilical that can take an adapter to fire AIM-120 as well.
LAU-106A/A
So the F-15SJ that can carry AAM-5 are likely to have received LAU-106A/A during the same IRAN without going through the J-MSIP modifications.
Thank God lmao. I don’t think they have anything worth adding that people should probably grind for anyways, and it will clutter all the new noobs to top tier to the US and UK.
No Rank 7/8 premium jet and I might be a more than a little mad tbh.
Do you think that LM, having experience in creating aircraft, and RR/P&W, having experience in creating engines with a STOVL, would not have made the F-35 without purchasing Yakovlev data?🤦♂️
Let me remind you that the first patented STOVL engines were from RR/P&W
You are the one bringing up russian bias. I’m just stating that an inferior tank and a 11.3 premium would seriously destabilize russian winrates.
Besides that, you highest ground vehicle is rank IV and main a single nation, your opinion about top tier holds 0 value.
I personally doubt it for the near future. The 2A7V will likely enter the game heavily nerfed compared to what it’s said to be irl. Besides that the overall russian lineup is still easily able to compete. The T-80s will do absolutely fine still.
