Besides that, you highest ground vehicle is rank IV and main a single nation, your opinion about top tier holds 0 value.
I personally doubt it for the near future. The 2A7V will likely enter the game heavily nerfed compared to what it’s said to be irl. Besides that the overall russian lineup is still easily able to compete. The T-80s will do absolutely fine still.
Can’t they be slaved by radar for more precise aim which could create some problems on old f-1 tech?

the radar slave mode should work with both radars tho
this isn’t exactly a new feature and I believe the F1 can already do that
in radar slave mode the IR missile doesn’t listen to a Target illuminator like a SARH missile but rather the radar tells the missile at wich degree in horizontal and Vertical axis the Target is at and the IR seeker of the missile then looks that direction
