Next Major Update - Rumor Round-Up and Discussion (Part 2)

Which is funny when you consider that after years we still have all tracked vehicles turning like WW2 tractors. I’m pretty sure if you tried to turn a modern MBT by just locking one of the tracks it would detrack the tank.

We aren’t militaries tho.
We’re people; the tech trees aren’t militaries theyr’e teck trees.
And for DCS we aren’t militaries either.
Players CAN do milsim in DCS & War Thunder with custom sessions, however the base programs aren’t milsim by either of the definitions we’ve come across.

Okay, go away.
Said provocations should not exist anywhere.
& trolls accusing all of us of being trolls… good lord.

I never once said that we are a military, nor did I say anything that would even so much as hint at it, and in DCS, you play as a part of a military. You can do whatever you want within said military, but that does not change the fact that in game, you are in one.

Watch the F-2 be added in the same patch as the F-22 purely due to its radar, but hey it might get AAM-3,4 and maybe 5

F-15J is probably what Japan is going to be stuck with for a while.

The power of copium and arguing

I didn’t state nor imply you said anything.
And no, I play as part of a PMC if anything in DCS.

I’m bored and I feel like fighting.

If you want to be a true “anti-American” bigot, stop naming them as if they were a continent.

Yes, you did. And PMC stands for ‘private military company’.

What are you going on about? I never said anything about that. You implied that a PMC isn’t a military; I explained that it is. Nothing else.

Apologies for any misunderstanding.
We’ve all had different experiences with the term, and all I can do is provide my perspective.

I honestly think it will be earlier and it’s sooner than we think. From what I know, even DCS hasn’t modeled AESA so, in effect, Gaijin has free reign to do whatever they want with AESA. It could be a glorified PD radar for all we know when modeled in WT.

At the same time, F-2 is a decent money maker for Gaijin given how many requests they get for it, so they would want to release it at a good time when people aren’t distracted with too many other goodies. I’d imagine sometime next year between March and October 2024, would be a good time.

In the meantime though, I hope they consider the XF-2A with PD radar so we can have something better than F-2 at home (F-16AJ).

F-15J has multiple variants too, so we’ll have something for a while at the very least.

I think we’ll get F-2A next year around the time we get Rafale & Typhoon.

yeah especially the F-15J IRST which is a more unique F-15J having a built in IRST system on the nose, another unique trait is the AAM-4 missile can be guided with just the IRST system. Though AAM-4 of any kind is probably not coming this patch and the F-15J IRST would probably be a later addition.

Well it seems like Britain is not only going to get a fighter but also from elsewhere aka another nation.
So I’m hyped on who it could be

You guys are getting way too optimistic from those statements from Smin. I don’t think he was meaning to imply we are getting foreign vehicles at all, just that we shouldn’t expect anything good.

I mean that a pretty huge clue

So Britain doesn’t need anymore CAS, We haven’t got a domestic fighter to fill the fighter gap and we are going to get a fighter aircraft. There is only one way too see this and that is we are going to get a fighter from someone else.
