Next Major Update - Rumor Round-Up and Discussion (Part 1)

you write it 4th time in a row, but still didnt write anything

Because you are writing them. You have pointed out multiple differences between the G and A that make the former not copy and paste.

we just have different views in c&p concept, there is no end

MiG-29a 9.12 was the export variant given to West Germany after WW2.

MiG-29G was the upgrade program given to the 9.12s which brought them up to a more modern NATO standard by a small grouping of companies including Mikoyan themselves.

The missiles that West/Unified Germany never received were given to the MiG-29G as the plane’s avionics is fully capable of firing them. This is ultimately the balancing decision Gaijin has made time and again.

It’s not a copy and paste. By your logic, every MiG-21 is a copy and paste, as are the Phantoms.

from the game development and current balance - yes

Su-22M3, Bis Sau, Mig-29 9.12, and Mig-29G are all unique aircraft.

You can’t add SEP2 without T-90M, either you get both or none.
M1A2 standard is as powerful as BVM 2016 with have in game, tho IMO Abrams is superior.

@someweirdname
29G has different cockpit elements.

So you really want to play game, where you are riding vehicle of 200x with shells of early 2000

And you must play vs russian vehicles with non existing characteristics from 2016-2023, that shoots shells that was only shown in 2019, and power of which is unknown, or even non existing shels(2s38 hello)

And to get something equal(sepv2 and m829a3-4) you are giving t90m because "it can exist one without another)

And when you will shoot your old m829a2 in t90m and get nothing, say thanks to current you

Date of introduction means nothing for capabilities.

The T-90M is really just a T-90A that doesn’t suck. They’ve only recently been putting heavy ERA, but we’ll see how far that goes.

Before it would have been a DOA because of that reason. Which until it’s seen in any meaningful amount of deployments it should just be seen as fictional propaganda.

Without the heavy ERA it will just be a worse T-80BVM. Until they fix the volumetric for ERA there really shouldn’t be two tanks running around with it. We definitely at least need DM73 and it’s other western equivalents by then.

I said that we need DM73 and other western equivalent if another modern Russian tank is added, especially if they decide to give it heavy ERA for whatever reason they can justify.

The main problem here is era, which would be everywhere
We still dont have realistic working era vs APFSDS

That’s also a point I brought up.

We need realistic era
Yes, its random mechanic, but it still better than just adding better and better shells

And introduction date means nothing for capabilities. Using dates for balance leads to things like the J-8B being deemed equal to the MiG-29A.

Russian SMT also has SPS-141 and countermeasure pod isn’t part of the plane anyway.

Its about, while russian gets the newest and the best
Other get outdated than cannot be opponent to it

And you brought up dates.

Yes, dates, because its important
Because the newer weapon, the less we know about it, like 3bm60 or relict, so that we get weapons with non existing properties that are not suitable for current balance

No, dates are not important. Capabilities of the vehicles, which are not determined by date of introduction, are important.

I was not referring to a lack of information about things, but okay.
