Defensive armaments are irrelevant to anything said so far. The B-17 and a strategic bomber just like the B-52 or H-6.

Not necessarily too early - there’s usually a 4 week development cycle as well as the event to consider, so starting today with dev stream/server in 2 weeks gives 2-3 weeks to get everything in order before release

I know Chally 2E’s superior power to weight might not automatically make it nimbler, but 21HP per ton of Ajax is below T-72B3 as well.
Yeah I meant the L/55 one with LEP.
But even the 130 would still be a certain tradeoff. It would have good pen, but would certainly have a significantly longer reload than the 5 seconds the current Chally has.
And it would have no add on packages.
The point is adding more MBTs isnt needed in an already bloated MBT top tier we need more variant at that rank either with HIGH TIER light tanks that have more modern capabilities (not the vfm5 it lacks thermals and decent shells) whats more required is fixing the problems on the mbts already ingame.
And Britain had and still has no top tier light vehicles. What is so hard to understand about this?

Top BR and top tier are two different things.
having more than 3 MBTs in your lineup is just a waste of position… LT and IFVs at top tier are very important because you can scout with them, and so get faster in a Heli or CAS, which can win the match… so yes, having these kind of vehicles in your top tier lineup is very important.
Its got a 170mm penning gun with around 100 or less rounds in a ready rack, decent speed, a fire and forget atgm on the roof along with gen 3 thermals for the commander gunner and driver.
