The B-17, B-29, Tu-4, and Lancaster ARE strategic bombers. And they are in-game right now.
Too bad RB doesn’t let them have much use though.

They already have like 3-4 11.3 MBTs and another 2 11.7 MBTs though.
Only hole they have at top tier is possibly 11.0 MBTs.
Some of the things he says are real head scratchers, that’s for sure.

Dude… you three must be new to War Thunder; cause less than 2 years ago there were only 2 Challenger 2s.
That’s what I’m saying.
Gaijin’s priority clearly was giving Britain good tanks instead of the newest service IFV that wouldn’t be as effective in War Thunder.
IFVs are great, I’m glad we get to drive them, and they are not really effective in winning matches.

These at least have defensive weapons.
Most strategic bombers post war had at most a single defensive gun on the tail, many had none at all.
And all those vehicles you mentioned are completely useless in game. They just take up a position that could instead be used by a fighter.
That is not top tier. Please stop insulting other people.

2 years ago the M1A2 was also the only real top tier MBT for the US, followed by the M1A1 and IPM1 without their M829A1 and M900.
They just didn’t give the US a similar dispropotional focus for subpar MBTs like britain and actually flashed out the tree with different additions.
Yeah only 3 tech trees have top-BR light “tanks”: USA, Sweden, and Italy.
Cause guess what? The only two modern light tanks left to my knowledge are Type 15 from China, and M10 Booker, and only Booker has a chance of being 11.0+ with M900.
Good for you to correct that as china legit has tons left in the IFV, Wheeled and light tank department

You cant win a match with just MBTs you know, you do need a flanking vehicle such as a LIGHT TANK or IFV

HSTV-L is the fastest light tank War Thunder will ever see.
The rest are at best as-fast as MBTs.

MBTs generally have worse acceleration and responsiveness. These are very important for having good mobility.
The point is piling more MBTs atm isn’t the solution to the glaring problem of more nimble and FASTER FIRING tanks

Indeed. It not only would separate the same vehicle(just the early prototype over the late one) into two tech trees.
Like if it was the one in game being C&Ped over to the US tree fine. but the UK already has one version the should get the other.
