ASM-3 Kai is Scramjet?
The ASM-3 Kai is a ramjet. The misconception of it being a scramjet comes from an incomplete/improper translation of a japanese research document, which actually specifically states that a scramjet powered ASM-3 would not be feasible.

Quite recently (1-2 months I think?). The Kai can be used in an A2A config, which is most likely meant to be used again AWACS and such.

Hi @Smin1080p_WT i have bit gaijional question, variable BRs are introduced to save a bit of work for gaijin also lower the community frustration? i refer to things happened around the viggens, and around a few other vehicles…
In short this new function save us from the same vehicles being researched again and again in favor of new tech equipment?

he has already answered this a few times, I think the consensus is that from this point on unless there were considerable changes to the airframe or equipment (like a new radar) early and late variants will no longer be added with the only difference being armament.

M829A3 in game, the Aussie Sep v3 can fire it, but gaijin choose it to stay it with the US due to uniqueness of the round and the tank.
nothing to do with Balance and such.
Also not do with Gaijin being pathetic, but to do with what is in service with the army and such. KE WA2 is still a good round even though it still tungstun version of the M829A2 round
