Do people not realise most of the data fusion is not going to be modelled? Like 90% of what makes the f35 good irl will not be brought into the game. Its radar will be fantastic but its fm will suffer compared to everything it faces, and with the hopeful addition of the next gen of missiles itll be fairly even vs what we have now. Bring an f22 into the mix and youll see them flying at 20km going mach 1.5 slinging 120ds or c5 whatever it can use at people while they struggle to lock it (assuming gaijin model stealth somewhat well).
The f-35 will be good but not nearly as good as the f-22 due to the meta in game.

anyway I do not want to see stealth this december, but i am setting my expectations there as not to be surprised
I want to see the Su-35 and some other 4.5 gens with modern IIR missiles as the air focus
I doubt that too as new IR missiles will only arrive with 5th gen.
They fear the addition of meteor and asraam. Cant imagine facing a german eft with IRS-T in this MCM meta.

MICA IR slingers will be the scariest of them all, provided EOTS is reworked at some point to function like TWS and not the 60s system we currently have
not necessarily, there are more current airframes in war thunder that field next gen IRs than early 5th gens
all the eurocanards have unique IIR missiles that haven’t been integrated into F-35s yet, so restricting those aircraft articifially is stupid
They have stated previously that 4th gen gets will get next gen missiles once 5th gen arrives to deal with them
right, doesn’t mean there is zero chance that 4.5 gens will be the testbeds for IIR missiles, especially in the live server.
look at the fox 3 tests for example, MICA on mirage 2000 before Rafale was added… etc etc
Yeah but that assumes that initial plans have changed since of which we have no indication as of now

i think some earlier 4th gens or a special event are more likely, unless they use the variable BR to make them significantly higher
su57 with su30sm2 TWR will be quite Anticlimactic to most players

What’s the chance of them skipping the SU-35S for now though? I don’t know if they did things like this at top tier in the past

Eh, IRIS-T and MICA IR Fill the same role, im more looking forward to ASRAAM as i love yeeting ir missiles from orbit as unless they have maw they are just dead.
Plus in sim i would just run pure IRST and ASRAAM lol.
Iris-t and mica IR are 2 very different missiles…
Is H-39 really this poorly protected…?
The majority of the main belt is just 180mm thick; only the waterline is 300mm thick. The entire crew compartments sit behind this 180mm thick belt.
This means that even 6.0 Heavy Cruisers would be able to easily exterminate H-39’s crew.

the Su-35S is so close to the Su-30SM2 that the only way i can see to make it a worthy addition is to add it in December with new missiles (R-77M R-37M R-74M) for it and everybody else. (meteor PL-15 IRIS-T etc) and then add 5th gens in 2027

Both are dog fight missiles with thrust vectoring, MICA has alot more range but in game they’ll be used for the same thing. Taking out incoming missiles.
The issue is, the dynamic BR system arrived just in time to kill the weapon trick
There’s no particular reason to not give the Su-30SM2 the same stuff that the Su-35S gets
