Next BR decompression, suggestion

The decompression recently released was quite fine, this helped with the health of the gaming experience, but I think it could still be improved a bit more by making a few further adjustments (In Air Realistic Battles).

SU-30 MK2 → 14.0
SU-30 MKK → 14.0
SU-27 → 13.3
SU-33 → 13.3
J-11 → 13.3
F/A-18A (All variants from each nation) → 12.7
F/A-18C Early (All variant from each nation) → 13.0
F-15A → 13.0
F-15J → 13.0
F-15 Baz → 13.0
Tornado F.3 → 12.3
Tornado ADV → 12.3
Mirage F1C → 12.3
Mirage F1C-200 → 12.3
Mirage IIIE → 10.3
Mirage 5BA → 9.7
F-20A → 12.0 (optional)
F-104G (Italy) → 10.3
F-104G (German) → 10.7
F-104S → 10.7
F-104S TAF → 10.7
F-104S ASA → 11.3

F-14D (Tech Tree Variant) → 13.3 (With AIM-120)

No.

Where exactly is the decompression without battle rating cap increase? I’m looking at a compression suggestion.

Where’s the compression?
Compression requires a BR reduction from the top end from 15.0 to 14.7.

why this:

And not moving the F-4J/F-4S Phantoms up instead, when they are overall better than the tornados? The F3/ADV are just fine at 12.0

Also no, they are fine at 12.0, unless gatewidth IRCCM gets a buff

Also

MiG-23MLD should go from 11.7 → 12.0

Well, Tornados got 4xAIM-9L, although the Super TEMP missiles may be less impressive than the AIM-7F in BVR engagements, they offer a faster reaction time at short-to-medium ranges. While the F-4J/S lack an all-aspect missile—which is a moderate limitation for the 12.0 Battle Rating—I believe the aircraft sits at an appropriate BR; its drawbacks do not hinder its performance to the point of making it ineffective, and its strengths, such as the Helmet-Mounted Sight (HMS) and a capable radar, provide sufficient competitiveness without disrupting the balance of the 11.0–12.0–13.0 BR range.

But maybe Tornado F.3 and ADV may not need to go up, its airframe is kind of a tragedy, AIM-9L and Super Temp compensates that issue.

Magic 2 with IRCCM is kind of a braking point as it is a fast and practically unavoidable missile when fired from a range of 1.0–2.0 km, no amount of maneuvering or use of flares can evade it.

Its kills depends all in the R-24R which only has 2 of them, R-60M are unreliable 'cause it is the missile that loves any other heat signature than any other missile

Besides the fact that the radar isn’t very good compared to that of the F-4J/S and its ACM mode (MiG-23 MLD) is somewhat awkward…

Its ACM is facing upward (not centered)

Which get 1 flared, and the tornado has a trash FM to make proper use of them. Having 6 AIM-7F’s is far better.

Who cares when sparrows are far better than non irccm fox2? They get up to 6 of them at 12.0 and HMD

They are missile buses in the literal sense. Good missile kit and avionics paired with a laughably bad FM.

This was me in a match yesterday, flaring magic 2’s at short range with a damn tornado of all things, using small-calibre flares! Gatewidth IRCCM is only reliable in a pure pursuit at ±1km range.

I also have videos from some tests I did in a duel, proving these were reliably flared unless they were shot at very short ranges in a perfect rear aspect, this was months ago to prove gatewidth IRCCM got a silent nerf or bug, which happaned maybe a year ago or so.

First of all, the FM is very good, so we can’t compare it just by loadout with jets with better loadouts but worse FM’s.

Second of all, R-60M’s in the mig-23 probably net me the highest hit rate compared to any other non IRCCM missile because you can actually run people down with the mig-23 and make proper use of these missiles.

The F-4FG/FGR2/J/S don’t need moved. They’re already balanced where they are.
The British ones have better flight performance as well.

F-4J UK however has the worse flight performance of the F-4J/S with the missiles of the FG, that could probably be 11.7.

I never said the FG1 and FGR.2 needed to move up

Then neither do the F-4J/S.

F-4K/M.

Suggesting Tonka up to 12.3BR while keeping F-4J/S, and sending F-20 down to 12.0 is wild.

Take it up with Gaijin:

Gaijin doesn’t call these
‘F-4FG1’ ‘F-4FGR2’

Don’t toss your problem onto Gaijin.

Maybe not with the current compression, but they do overshadow all the other 12.0’s in effectiveness.

I was just showing how ridiculous it would be to move the tonkas up while leaving the phantom 4J/4S in 12.0

F-4J/S maybe stronger than the Attacker variant of Mirage 2000 or Harrier GR.7

I am not telling that these are stronger than any 12.3BR jets, but some of these

All 12.3 fighters in the game are superior to F-4J/S.
FG1 & FGR2 have superior flight performance, which I prefer over having 50km effective range on my radar missiles.

It’s partly why I avoided the F-4J stock grind for years.

Either way, all of the PDV Phantoms except F-4J UK are examples of what 12.0s should be.

Aw, I missed quoting ‘every 12.3’ before being edited.
I was preparing Harrier GR.7 /j

Acceptable term. Great work.

While many blokes prefer having six SARH over 4

It is certainly true that AIM-7E-2 and Skyflash are inferior to AIM-7F/M in many cases
While F-4J/S can maximise these to six.

All 12.3 attackers are worse than them, the kurnass 2000 is also worse, and I would even argue that the F-16A is worse.

But I was saying the f4j/f4s are considerably better than the other 12.0’s, I didn’t mention 12.3 but it is still valid for most, now that you mentioned it.

They have considerably worse SARHs that don’t manouver well and can be rolled with most jets. You have to be insane to think the FGR2 FM offsets the performance you get from AIM-7F and HMD

Yeah, it is understandable as a personal preference. But treating these as equal sounds wild.

Prefering F-4K/M is one thing
Treating these as same is whole another.
