Tbh they should have been changed to 6.5s. Right now Chinese autoloaders are bigger than their Russian counterparts for absolutely no reason

Can’t speak for Chinese autoloaders as I don’t know their speed, but in the case of Russian autoloaders, good, common sense has won it seems.
It made no sense to change the AZ and MZ autoloaders to that value. While they can reach it on paper, this is not a realistic combat reload speed.
They have the same reload time as the t72 because they use the same style of autoloader
The t80 uses a different autoloader, that’s why it is faster

Reloads have long stopped being about what is realistic and have been about balance.
Most of the vehicles with these autoloaders are mediocre vehicles, and the ones that aren’t are mid-decent at best.
A lot of people whined because they still have this delusion in their head that Russian MBTs are still overpowered.
