Before the update I had the Mi-24D helicopter from the Italian tree with all the level 1, 2 and 3 modules and I only needed to investigate “Cover” and “23 mm offensive”. Now with the new update it asks me to re-investigate the “HIRSS” module, but as you can see in the picture I already had it applied because it was already investigated.
As you can see now in modifications the module appears in level 1 but without researching. This is something I had already investigated. It is not the first time that something like this happens and I know that the same thing happens in other aircraft or armored vehicles. It is a bit tiring to investigate modules again in several vehicles.
Maybe I’m buggin but I don’t think the Mi-24Ds had HIRSS, pretty sure the Czech 24D had open exhausts the whole time I’ve been flying it.

It’s the same as the V/P Hinds, HIRSS is installed on your helicopter because it’s also tied to IRCM+Flare/Chaff in Offensive Armament rather than it’s own module.

The HIRSS module was already there before, but in the third line of modules and now it has been moved to the first line. The thing is that I had already investigated it being in the third line before the update. Now that it has been moved, I have to investigate it again. And HIRSS always had its own separate module and came after IRCM.

you didn’t research the HIRSS module as the 24Ds didn’t have it, you researched the IRCM module and it’s visible on your helicopter
First you had flares, then IRCM and then HIRSS which I investigated after that capture which is from August 2024. In all Mi-24s after the IRCM you had to investigate the HIRSS.
It has never been like that, HIRSS was always first
